Disciple of Prayer
I don't know what to do, what is right, or how to connect with me and God to find my own way or hear God's words to guide me. I'm tired of running; it's just coming back with different people and more severe than before. This time I have no choice; I'm stuck to make a choice.

We hear the weariness in your heart, the longing for direction, and the deep desire to connect with God in a way that brings true peace and clarity. You’ve been running—perhaps from pain, confusion, or even from God Himself—and now you find yourself at a crossroads where you can no longer escape the need to choose. Let us first assure you that this very moment of surrender is where God meets us. He has not abandoned you; in fact, He has been pursuing you all along, waiting for you to turn to Him with an open and humble heart.

The truth is, we cannot find our own way apart from God. Jeremiah 10:23 reminds us, *"I know, Yahweh, that the way of man is not in himself. It is not in man who walks to direct his steps."* Our human efforts, no matter how sincere, will always fall short if we rely on our own understanding. But when we seek God with all our hearts, He promises to be found. Jeremiah 29:13 says, *"You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart."* This is not a vague or distant promise—it is an invitation from a Father who longs to guide His children.

You mentioned that you don’t know how to connect with God or hear His voice. Let us encourage you: God speaks to us primarily through His Word, the Bible. In Psalm 119:105, we read, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."* If you want to hear God’s voice, start by immersing yourself in Scripture. Read it daily, meditate on it, and ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate its truth to your heart. Prayer is not a one-sided conversation—it is a dialogue where we pour out our hearts to God and then *listen* for His response through His Word, through the still small voice of the Spirit, and through the wisdom of godly counsel.

We also notice that you didn’t invoke the name of Jesus in your request. This is not a small matter, for Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name by which we can approach God or receive salvation. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to take the helm of your life. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."*

As for the choices before you, we urge you to seek God’s will above all else. Do not lean on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there are patterns of sin or ungodly relationships in your life that keep resurfacing—perhaps in "different people and more severe than before"—it is time to repent and turn away from them completely. Running from God only delays the inevitable: He will allow circumstances to bring you to a place where you must face the truth. But take heart, for His discipline is a sign of His love (Hebrews 12:6). He is not punishing you; He is refining you, calling you to holiness and wholeness in Him.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You see their weariness, their confusion, and their deep longing for Your guidance. Lord, they have run for so long, but now they stand before You, ready to listen. We ask that You meet them in this moment with Your overwhelming peace and clarity. Open their eyes to see Your truth, their ears to hear Your voice, and their heart to receive Your love.

Father, if they have not yet surrendered to Jesus, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself in a way they cannot ignore. Convict them of their need for a Savior and reveal to them the beauty of Your grace. Let them understand that it is only through Christ that they can have true relationship with You and receive the guidance they so desperately seek.

Lord, we rebuked any spirit of confusion, fear, or indecision that may be clouding their mind. We declare that Your Word is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. Give them the courage to turn away from any sin or ungodly ties that have ensnared them in the past. Break every cycle of bondage and set them free to walk in Your perfect will.

Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel—people who will point them to You and not to the wisdom of this world. Let them find rest in Your presence, knowing that You are their Shepherd and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Give them the strength to make the choices that honor You, even if they are difficult.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You have not forgotten them, and You will not leave them in this place of uncertainty. Lead them, guide them, and let them experience the joy of walking in step with Your Spirit. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to take practical steps:
1. **Repent and Surrender**: If there is known sin in your life, confess it to God and turn away from it. This includes any relationships or behaviors that do not honor Him.
2. **Read God’s Word Daily**: Start with the Gospel of John or Psalms. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you as you read.
3. **Pray Specifically**: Bring your choices before God and ask Him to show you His will. Write down what you sense He is saying and compare it to Scripture.
4. **Seek Godly Counsel**: Find a mature believer or pastor who can pray with you and offer biblical wisdom.
5. **Rest in His Timing**: Trust that God is working, even when you don’t see it. Isaiah 30:21 says, *"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, 'This is the way. Walk in it.'"*

You are not alone in this. We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will lead you into His perfect will. Keep seeking Him—He will not let you down.

We're here with you, friend. We feel your weariness, your longing for clarity, and your desire to connect with God in a deeper way. It's like you've been running on a treadmill, trying to find your own way, but now you're tired and ready to step off, ready to let God take the lead.

You mentioned you don't know how to connect with God or hear His voice. Let's assure you, God wants to speak to you, and He does so primarily through His Word, the Bible. Start by reading it daily, even if it's just a little bit each day. Meditate on what you read and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart. Remember, prayer is a two-way conversation. After you've poured out your heart to God, be still and listen for His response. It might come through a verse in the Bible, a nudge in your spirit, or wise counsel from a trusted friend.

We also want to encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus. He is the only way to the Father, and through Him, you can have a personal relationship with God. If you haven't already, confess your sins, believe in Jesus' death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life.

As for the choices you're facing, we urge you to seek God's will above all else. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. If there are patterns of sin or ungodly relationships in your life that keep resurfacing, it's time to repent and turn away from them completely. God is not punishing you; He's refining you, calling you to holiness and wholeness in Him.

Let's pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift this precious soul to You. We ask that You meet them in this moment with Your overwhelming peace and clarity. Open their eyes to see Your truth, their ears to hear Your voice, and their heart to receive Your love. If they haven't yet surrendered to Jesus, draw them to Yourself. Convict them of their need for a Savior and reveal to them the beauty of Your grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

You're not alone in this. We're standing with you in prayer, believing that God will lead you into His perfect will. Keep seeking Him - He won't let you down.

I've never really learned about God of I've always followed my heart I've always been the sweetest person that's what everybody would say that means no harm and I just love and want to see people happy and smiling but lately people's been targeting me and I've been trying to learn how to walk with God I just don't know how I love him I always feel like God's in me and my soul that he's my faith but I've been confused with the word of God and Jesus like I don't know what like to believe or what we're to start and what to do I want to walk with him I want to learn about Jesus I want to learn everything but I just am stuck in a situation right now where I have to either defend myself and protect myself from my neighbor who is an elder person and is killing me having to go against them but he has targeted me and has been harassing and stalking me and trying to cause harm almost put my life at risk and all I did was help him and feed him and try to assist them and he just wanted to exchange sex for money and cross boundaries and not be mindful of my sleeping hours and just knew that I was by myself and just took advantage and I've been so lost and scared of having a press complain about him that usually I run away from doing anything that would put a person on the spot and caused him to suffer in a way by their actions I would just let them have it and I would just disappear and they didn't have to face her consequences but this time he's right next door and it's causing me so much distress and is breaking me down so bad to the point I can't even function on my daily activity and I have to speak with the program manager and it's up to me if I want to continue or just drop it and just cancel it

I don't know what to do, what is right, or how to connect with me and God to find my own way or hear God's words to guide me. I'm tired of running; it's just coming back with different people and more severe than before. This time I have no choice; I'm stuck to make a choice.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!
