God help me to understand why evil won yesterday? Justice was not served and my children not protected. Why he was able to sit in court and lie and I was painted as a liar. God you saw ALL, why God why? I have been obedient all these years, I have tried to stay faithful, I believed you would fight for me but that didn't happen. Please tell me why? I'm weary, doubting, I have no faith left. Please help me to understand. You said you don't like liars, you don't like abuse or violence, you don't like a man that doesn't protect or provide for the household so why?

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in this moment of deep pain and confusion. The weight of injustice is crushing, and the questions you ask are ones that have echoed through the ages, why does evil seem to triumph? Why does the wicked prosper while the righteous suffer? We stand with you in this valley of shadows, declaring that the Lord sees, He knows, and He has not abandoned you, even when it feels like He has turned His face away.

The psalmist cried out in Psalm 73:2-3, "But as for me, my feet were almost gone. My steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked." Like you, he struggled to reconcile the apparent victory of evil with the goodness of God. Yet in his wrestling, he came to understand that God’s justice is not always immediate, but it is certain. Psalm 73:17-18 says, "Until I entered God’s sanctuary, and considered their latter end. Surely you set them in slippery places. You throw them down to destruction." The lies and deception that prevailed in that courtroom are not the end of the story. The Lord will bring every hidden thing to light, and every unrepented sin will be judged in His perfect time.

We must also speak truth to the weariness of your soul. Doubt and despair are not signs of weak faith, they are the battle scars of a heart that has loved deeply and fought valiantly. Even the great prophet Elijah, after a mighty victory, fled in fear and cried out to God, "I have had enough, Lord. Take my life" (1 Kings 19:4). But God did not rebuke him for his exhaustion. Instead, He met him with food, rest, and the gentle whisper of His presence. You are not alone in your doubt, and your honesty before God is not a sin, it is an invitation for Him to draw near and renew your strength.

Yet we must also address the deeper ache in your words, the feeling that your obedience has gone unnoticed, that your faithfulness has not been rewarded. Beloved, God is not a transactional God. He does not owe us blessings in exchange for our righteousness, nor does He withhold justice to punish us. Our obedience is not a bargaining chip; it is the natural response of a heart that loves Him. Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments." Your faithfulness is not in vain, even when the outcome is not what you hoped. The Lord is storing up treasures for you in heaven that cannot be stolen or corrupted (Matthew 6:20).

We also hear the pain of feeling unprotected, as though the Lord did not fight for you or your children. But we declare over you the promise of Psalm 34:19, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Deliverance does not always look like victory in the courtroom. Sometimes it looks like strength to endure, wisdom to navigate the storm, or the quiet assurance that God is your defender when no one else stands with you. The enemy may have had a temporary victory, but the war is already won. The cross of Christ is the ultimate proof that God turns evil into good, suffering into redemption, and death into life.

We must also speak plainly about the lies that were told against you. Proverbs 19:9 warns, "A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he who utters lies shall perish." The man who sat in that courtroom and deceived is not beyond God’s justice. The Lord hates a lying tongue (Proverbs 6:17), and He will not let it go unchecked. But we must also examine our own hearts, have we allowed bitterness or unforgiveness to take root? Hebrews 12:15 warns, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." Forgiveness is not about excusing evil; it is about releasing the poison from your own soul so that God can heal you.

And to your children, oh, how our hearts break for them. The Lord is their true Father, their ultimate protector. Psalm 27:10 says, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up." Even if earthly justice failed them, their Heavenly Father has not. We pray that He would surround them with His angels, comfort them in their confusion, and restore what has been broken.

Now, we come before the Lord on your behalf, lifting up every shattered piece of your heart.

Father God, we come before You with tears, lifting up this precious one who is weary and broken. You see the injustice she has endured, the lies that were spoken against her, and the pain of feeling abandoned. Lord, You are the God who executes justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6), and we ask that You would move on her behalf. Bring truth to light, expose the deception, and let Your righteous judgment prevail. But even if the courts of man fail her, remind her that You are her ultimate Judge, and Your verdict is the only one that matters.

We ask for Your healing touch to mend her shattered faith. Restore her hope, Lord, and renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Remind her that her obedience has not gone unnoticed, You are storing up her tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8), and You will repay every wrong. Give her the courage to forgive, not for the sake of her accuser, but for her own freedom. Guard her heart from bitterness, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

For her children, Lord, we ask for Your divine protection. Be their Father, their Comforter, and their Guide. Heal their wounds, restore their trust, and let them see Your faithfulness even in this storm. Surround them with godly influences, mentors, pastors, and friends who will speak life into them and remind them of Your love.

And to the one who sat in that courtroom and lied, Lord, we ask that You would bring conviction to his heart. Let him not find rest until he repents, and if he refuses, let Your justice fall upon him swiftly. But if there is any hope for redemption, soften his heart and lead him to truth.

We declare over this dear one that this is not the end of her story. You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and we trust that You will do the same for her. Strengthen her, Lord, and let her feel Your presence in the midst of this pain. Remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered sin and death, and who will one day wipe every tear from her eyes. Amen.

Beloved, we do not have all the answers, but we know the One who does. The Lord is not silent, He is working, even when we cannot see it. Hold fast to His promises, and let Him carry you through this valley. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. And though the night is dark, joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Keep pressing into Him, for He is your refuge and your strength.

Oh, sister, we’re standing with you in this raw, aching place where the weight of injustice feels like it’s crushing your spirit. We hear the tears in your words, the way your heart is asking, "Why, God? Why did You let this happen?" And we want you to know, right now, that your pain is not wasted. It’s not a sign that God has turned His back on you. It’s proof that you’ve been fighting for something real, something true, and He sees every tear, every moment of obedience, every time you chose love over bitterness.

You’re asking why evil seems to win, why the wicked get to sit so comfortably while the righteous are left broken. That’s a question that has echoed through the ages, and we can’t give you a simple answer, because sometimes, the answer is just this: God’s ways are not our ways. But we can tell you this: the man who lied in that courtroom, the one who painted you as a liar and left your children unprotected, he doesn’t have the final word. The Lord hates lies (Proverbs 12:22), and He will expose them. But more than that, He’s looking at you, the one who’s been faithful, who’s loved her children, who’s tried to walk in righteousness. And we’re declaring that your faithfulness has been seen. It’s not a transaction, but it’s not meaningless either. God is storing up your tears, your strength, your trust, because He’s preparing something far greater than what you’ve lost.

We hear the weariness in your voice, the way doubt has crept in like a thief in the night. But let’s be honest with each other: doubt doesn’t mean you’ve lost your faith. It means you’ve loved deeply, and love always comes with the risk of heartbreak. Elijah felt just like you, deserted, exhausted, ready to give up. But God didn’t rebuke him for his honesty; He met him with bread, water, and a whisper of His presence. That’s what’s happening for you right now. You’re not alone in this. And the fact that you’re still asking these questions, still searching for answers, proves that your heart is still open to Him.

Now, we’re praying for you like this: Father, we see the pain in her heart, the betrayal, the injustice, the feeling that You didn’t step in when she needed You most. But we declare that You are the God who fights for the fatherless and the widow (Psalm 68:5). We ask that You would expose the lies that were spoken against her, that You would restore what was stolen, and that You would fill the void in her soul with Your peace.

For her children, we’re lifting them up, Lord, surround them with Your protection, surround them with Your love. Even if the world has failed them, You are their Father. We pray that You would heal their confusion, that You would give them a sense of security that no courtroom verdict can take away.

And to the one who hurt her, we’re praying for his heart. Lord, if there’s any spark of repentance left, ignite it. If not, let Your justice fall like fire. But no matter what, we know that You are the Judge, and Your verdict is the only one that matters.

Sister, we’re not leaving you here. We’re praying that You would renew your strength like the eagle’s wings (Isaiah 40:31). That You would fill your heart with Your peace (Philippians 4:7), even when the world feels unfair. That You would remind her that her obedience has not been in vain, because one day, every wrong will be righted, every tear will be wiped away, and every child will be protected by the One who truly loves them.

We’re holding you close, sister. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. And this is not the end of your story. Keep trusting. Keep believing. He’s working. Even when it doesn’t look like it.

God bless you and our families, friends and even our enemies, Matt 5 - 7, convicting and converting those lost, Jn 16:8, so none would perish, but rather all come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, so we pray for all people, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Father, for God desires all people to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Father, thank You for loving the world so much You gave Your only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life, John 3:16, for the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost, Lk 19:10, For The Father did not send The Son at His 1st advent to judge the world, but that the world through Him might be saved, John 3:17. There is a Judge for the one who rejects Me and does not accept My Words; the very Words I have spoken will condemn them at The Last Day, John 12:48....

"It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all. Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.
