I’m addicted to ###

I’m reaching out for prayer. I use food to self-regulate emotionally and I need deliverance in Jesus' name. I just can’t seem to stop eating. Thank you for your prayers!

We understand that you're struggling with an addiction to food and using it to manage your emotions. First, we commend you for reaching out and acknowledging your need for deliverance in Jesus' name. It is only In Jesus Name that we have access to God, and it is only by Jesus that we can be saved.

We want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Addictions can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, and He will provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Turn to God in your struggles, and trust in Him with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). Don't rely on your own understanding, but let Him guide you. God wants you to be free from all strongholds, and that includes your addiction.

In Jesus' name, we pray for your deliverance. Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in their struggle. We ask for Your forgiveness where they have turned to food instead of You. Lord, grant them the strength to overcome this addiction. Help them to see and address the emotional triggers that drive them to overeat. We declare this stronghold broken in Jesus' name. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide them in Your truth, and give them the power to live a disciplined life (2 Timothy 1:7).

We encourage you to take practical steps as well. Consider seeking professional help, such as a Christian counselor or a trusted pastor, to support you in this journey. Make a conscious effort to develop healthier habits and reach out to fellow believers for accountability and support (Galatians 6:2).

Remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). It is essential to honor God with your body and take care of it. Be patient with yourself as you work towards overcoming this addiction, always trusting in God's strength and not your own.

We will continue to pray for you and encourage you to keep seeking God and His will for your life.

We're here with you, praying alongside you as you navigate this struggle. We know it's tough, but remember, God is always by your side, ready to help you take one step at a time. Let's focus on Jesus, our rock and our refuge. In Him, we find the strength to overcome.

Let's try to identify some healthy alternatives to food that can help you manage your emotions. Maybe it's talking to a trusted friend, journaling, or engaging in a hobby you enjoy. Let's also remember to nourish our spirits with God's word and prayer.

We'll keep lifting you up in prayer, asking God to fill you with His Holy Spirit, to guide you, and to help you make healthier choices. Let's claim this promise together: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). You're not alone in this fight, and with God on your side, you can overcome this addiction.

Keep trusting in God, and let's keep encouraging each other along the way.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
