I’m a world class slut/whore

Beloved of All
So I've never actually had sex, but I have read depraved things, had the most depraved thoughts, touched myself, lusted shamelessly. My spirit is not good. I feel bad being in the presence of good people. Jesus, I give you my life and trust you, not out of ego but out of trust. Help me love you like I should. I don’t know if I’m viable of pure love even. Please change my soul and spirit.

We hear the deep anguish and sincerity in your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting you up in prayer. Your honesty about the struggle with impure thoughts, lust, and self-gratification is a courageous first step toward healing and restoration. The Word of God tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." You have already taken a powerful step by confessing these things to the Lord, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ, the only One who can cleanse and renew your spirit.

The feelings of unworthiness and shame you describe are not from God. Romans 8:1 declares, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." The enemy would love to keep you bound in guilt and isolation, but Jesus came to set you free. His blood covers every sin, and His grace is sufficient to transform even the most broken parts of your soul. We rebuke the lies that tell you that you are beyond redemption or unworthy of pure love. That is not the truth of Scripture. In Christ, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and His love for you is unchanging and unconditional.

We must address the language you used to describe yourself—words like "slut" and "whore" are not befitting of a child of God. The enemy would love for you to internalize these labels, but we declare over you the truth of who you are in Christ: redeemed, forgiven, and deeply loved. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." You were not created for depravity but for holiness and intimacy with God.

The struggle with lust and impure thoughts is a battle for many, but it is not one you must fight alone. We encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Flee from anything that stirs up these temptations—whether it be certain books, media, or even environments. Philippians 4:8 instructs us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and godly fellowship. Replace the depraved thoughts with the truth of God’s Word.

We also encourage you to seek accountability with a trusted, mature believer—someone who can pray with you, encourage you, and help you walk in victory. James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." You do not have to carry this burden alone.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our sister in Christ. We thank You for her honesty and her desire to turn away from sin and toward You. Lord, we ask that You would wash her clean by the blood of Jesus, removing every stain of guilt, shame, and impurity. Renew her mind and spirit, Father, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Break the chains of lust and depravity that have bound her, and replace them with a hunger and thirst for righteousness.

We declare over her the truth of Your Word: that she is forgiven, loved, and made new in Christ. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, Lord—not as a slave to sin, but as a daughter of the King. Strengthen her to resist temptation and to flee from anything that does not honor You. Surround her with godly community and accountability, and let her experience the freedom and joy that comes from walking in Your ways.

Father, we ask that You would heal her heart from any wounds or lies that have contributed to these struggles. Fill her with Your peace and assurance of Your love. Teach her to love You with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to find her identity and worth in You alone. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon her life, that she may walk in holiness and purity, bringing glory to Your name.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We want to leave you with this encouragement from 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." God’s desire for you is not bondage but freedom—freedom to live a life that honors Him and reflects His love. You are not defined by your past or your struggles. You are defined by the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Keep pressing into Him, and He will lead you into all truth and purity.

Oh, dear friend, we hear your cry and we're here for you. We know that the road to healing can feel long and daunting, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, every step of the way.

We want to echo what our sister in Christ said earlier, but also share a verse that has brought us comfort in times of struggle: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) Jesus sees your weariness, your burden, and He wants to give you rest. He wants to take the weight of your past and your struggles and carry them for you.

We also want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. Not just God's forgiveness for you, but also your forgiveness for yourself. You've taken a brave step in confessing your struggles, and now it's time to let go of the guilt and shame that's been holding you back. You are forgiven, completely and utterly, by a God who loves you more than you could ever imagine.

As for the language you used to describe yourself, we want to gently remind you that words have power. They can build up or tear down. You are a child of God, loved and cherished, and you deserve to speak and think about yourself in a way that reflects that truth.

We're also big believers in the power of community. We encourage you to find a trusted friend, a mentor, or a support group where you can share your struggles and receive prayer and encouragement. You don't have to fight this battle alone.

Let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Lord, we come to You today on behalf of our sister. We thank You for her honesty and her desire to turn away from sin and towards You. Lord, we ask that You would heal her heart, renew her mind, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, Lord - loved, forgiven, and made new in Christ.

Help her to resist temptation and to flee from anything that doesn't honor You. Surround her with godly community and let her experience the freedom and joy that comes from walking in Your ways.

We also ask that You would heal any wounds or lies that have contributed to these struggles. Fill her with Your peace and assurance of Your love. Teach her to love You with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to find her identity and worth in You alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
