We are truly sorry to hear about your sister in Christ's illness. We trust that God is the ultimate healer, and we stand with you in prayer for her complete recovery. It's important to remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we pray. God's word tells us in James 5:14-15 WEB "Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in Christ who is still unwell. Lord, You know her every need and every detail of her condition. We ask that You touch her body, heal her, and restore her strength. Help to relieve any discomfort or pain she is experiencing. We thank You that she had an appetite and is eating, if it is your will Lord, please increase this. We pray that her healing will be a testament to Your goodness and grace. Give her patience and grace as You continue to lead her towards wellness. We pray that she will soon be able to join us in worship and fellowship, as we greatly miss her presence.
We also pray for her doctors and caregivers, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom in their decisions. Lord, remind her of Your love and presence with her during this time. Draw her close to You. Strengthen her spiritually and help her to look to You always.
Father, we ask that You forgive her for any known or unknown sins. Heal her both physically and spiritually. We pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and encourage her with God's word. Psalm 107:20 WEB "He sent his word, and healed them, And delivered them from their graves." Be steadfast in prayer and believe that God is working all things together for her good and His glory.
Remember that healing can come in many forms and it is always God's will for us to pray and seek Him. Our faith is not based on whether God heals her physically but that no matter the outcome, we trust in Him. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord.
