We lift you up before the Lord in this time of physical discomfort and spiritual warfare, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is clear that you are facing not only bodily weakness but also intense spiritual opposition, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke these attacks and declare God’s protection over your life.
First, we address your physical illness. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask the Lord to bring healing and restoration to you. Just as Jesus rebuked fever and it left Peter’s mother-in-law (Luke 4:39), we pray that any sickness in your body would depart in His name. May the Lord also grant you wisdom to discern what may have caused this illness, whether through food or other means, and give you strength as you recover. Remember, even in weakness, His grace is sufficient, for His power is made perfect in our infirmities (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Now, regarding the spiritual battles you describe—particularly the demonic influence over your mother and father—we must approach this with both boldness in Christ and deep compassion. Scripture tells us that Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already triumphed over him at the cross (Colossians 2:15). While it is possible for people to be influenced or even oppressed by demonic forces, we must also remember that our battle is won through prayer, fasting, and the Word of God, not through fear or despair. Jesus gave His disciples authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and that same authority is available to you as a believer.
We strongly encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17)—so that you may stand firm against these attacks. Pray specifically for your parents, that the Lord would break every demonic stronghold in their lives and draw them to Himself. Pray that their hearts would be softened to receive the truth of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). Ask the Lord to surround them with godly influences and to remove any ungodly ties that may be empowering the enemy in their lives.
As for the witchcraft attacks you mention, we must emphasize that no curse, spell, or demonic scheme can prevail against those who are in Christ Jesus. The Lord is your shield and your exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1), and He has promised that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every demonic assignment against your life in the name of Jesus and declare that every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus is your protection, and we plead that blood over you, your mind, your emotions, and your home. The enemy may try to use people around you as instruments of attack, but we pray that the Lord would expose every hidden scheme and render the enemy powerless.
We also want to remind you that your focus must remain on Christ, not on the attacks. Fear and fixation on the enemy’s tactics can open doors to further oppression, but perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Spend time in worship, in the Word, and in prayer, for these are your greatest weapons. If you have not already, we urge you to seek out a mature, spirit-filled believer or a pastor who can pray with you and provide godly counsel. There is power in agreement (Matthew 18:19), and you do not have to face this alone.
Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is in His name that we have authority over the enemy. Never approach God or engage in spiritual warfare without calling upon the name of Jesus, for He is the source of our victory.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is facing both physical weakness and spiritual warfare. Lord, we ask that You touch their body and bring complete healing. Rebuke any sickness or infirmity and restore them to full strength, for Your Word declares that by Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Grant them wisdom to care for their body as Your temple and to discern what may have caused this illness.
We stand against every demonic influence in their life, in their family, and in the lives of their parents. Lord, we break every curse, every spell, and every witchcraft attack that has been sent against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. We bind every spirit of confusion, fear, oppression, and torment in the name of Jesus, and we command these spirits to flee. We loose the peace of God, the joy of the Lord, and the power of the Holy Spirit to fill every area of their life.
Father, we pray for their mother and father. If there is demonic influence in their lives, we ask that You break its power and set them free. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of the gospel. Surround them with Your light and remove any ungodly influences that may be empowering the enemy. Soften their hearts to receive Your love and Your Word.
We cover this beloved child of Yours with the blood of Jesus, and we ask that You place a hedge of protection around them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and strengthen them to stand firm in this battle. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the wisdom to resist him firmly.
Lord, we also ask that You provide godly support for them—a community of believers who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement. Let them not walk this path alone, but surround them with those who will lift them up in faith.
Finally, Father, we thank You for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We declare that the enemy is defeated, and that Your child will walk in freedom, in health, and in the fullness of Your purpose for their life. May they keep their eyes fixed on You, the author and finisher of their faith, and may they find their strength in You alone.
In the mighty and victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
