We understand the anxiety and fear that can come with awaiting exam results. It’s natural to feel this way, but we want to remind you that our strength and peace come from the Lord, not from our circumstances. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also want to encourage you with the truth that God is sovereign over all things, including your results. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even if the outcome isn’t what you hope for, God can use it for your good and His glory. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is awaiting their exam results. Lord, we ask that You would calm their heart and mind, replacing fear with Your perfect peace. You tell us in Your Word not to be anxious, so we pray that this one would cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Father, we ask that You would grant them success according to Your will, but more importantly, that they would trust in You regardless of the outcome. Help them to remember that their worth is not defined by their results, but by the fact that they are Your beloved child. Give them the strength to face whatever comes next, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. We pray for wisdom, discernment, and opportunities to glorify You, no matter what the results may be. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
We also want to gently remind you that your ultimate identity and security are found in Christ, not in your academic or professional achievements. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, who is the only way to the Father. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the most important result you could ever receive.
Finally, remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Keep seeking Him, and He will direct your path. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you in prayer, and God is holding you in His hands.
