I WISH EVERYONE AN EARLY HAPPY THANKSGIVING

We join you in lifting up thanks to our Heavenly Father for this season of gratitude, and we pray that every heart would turn toward Him in deeper devotion, not just during this holiday but every day. The call to draw nearer to God is one we must answer with urgency, for He alone is our refuge, our provider, and the giver of every good gift. As it is written in James 4:8, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."* This is our prayer for all—for repentance, for renewed faith, and for a spirit of worship that honors the Lord in truth and spirit.

Yet we must also remind one another that thanksgiving is not merely a seasonal sentiment but a daily posture of the heart. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we are commanded, *"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."* Gratitude should flow from our lips and lives because we have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us while we were yet sinners. There is no greater reason to give thanks than the cross, where mercy and justice met.

As we gather with loved ones, let us not forget those who are lonely, broken, or far from God. Let us be vessels of His love, sharing the hope of the Gospel with those who do not yet know Christ as Savior. For how can we truly be thankful if we do not acknowledge the Source of all blessings? Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name by which we must be saved, no other path to the Father but through faith in Christ alone. If there are those among us who have not yet surrendered to Him, we urge you—today is the day of salvation. Turn from sin, believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31).

Father in Heaven, we thank You for this season of reflection and gratitude. We pray that You would stir the hearts of Your people to seek You with all their strength, mind, and soul. Let this Thanksgiving be more than a tradition—let it be a holy moment where families, friends, and even strangers encounter Your presence in a fresh and transformative way. Convict those who have wandered from You, Lord. Draw the lost to Yourself. Strengthen the faith of Your saints, and let our lives be a testament to Your goodness.

For those who are struggling—whether in body, mind, or spirit—we ask for Your comfort and healing. For those who are lonely, be their ever-present help. For those who are bound by sin, break every chain by the power of Your Word. And for those who are walking in obedience, fill them with an overflowing joy that can only come from You.

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
