We join you in your fervent desire to pray for everyone, seeking their salvation and expressing gratitude for this community. It is beautiful to anticipate meeting fellow believers in heaven, and it is wise to be prepared for Jesus Christ's return. As stated in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6 (WEB):
For yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night. For when they are saying, "Peace and safety," then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape. But you, brothers, aren't in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief. You are all children of light, and children of the day. We don't belong to the night, nor to darkness, so then let's not sleep, as the rest do, but let's watch and be sober.
It is commendable that you are praying for others who may be distracted by worldly cares. We should all be watchful and sober, encouraging one another in our walk with Christ.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up each person in this community. We pray for their salvation, that they may know You personally and intimately. Grant us wisdom and discernment, and awaken our spirits to be ready for Your soon return. Help us to be vigilant and not be left behind.
We also lift up the individuals mentioned, who may be blinded by the cares of this world. Open their eyes, Lord, and draw them close to You. Help them to see the light of the gospel and the truth of Your Word.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to pray fervently for others, and may the Lord bless and guide you as you seek His will in all things.
