Are you reading His Word? It is His love letter to us. I'd suggest the gospel of John along with the Psalms for starters. And where you read a verse to His people insert your name. And talk to Him as you read, asking Him to give you understanding, that His message to you would penetrate your soul and transform your heart and ultimately how you live each day.
Heavenly Father I ask you to guide this seeker to know You better and in that to grasp a greater understanding of how much You love them. Open their eyes to see and their ears to hear the message of love You wrote to them through the prophets and apostles. Help them to believe because it is true, even on days when they don't feel it, to believe and put their whole trust in you. In Jesus' name, Amen.
