I want to get rich and get jobs

We hear your desire for financial stability and open doors for income, as well as your goal to take initiative in driving yourself forward. It is good to seek provision and work diligently, for Scripture tells us, *"The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat"* (Proverbs 13:4). We also recognize that God is the one who gives us the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18), and we must seek His wisdom in how we steward what He provides.

However, we must examine the heart behind the desire for wealth. The Bible warns us, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows"* (1 Timothy 6:10). If the pursuit of riches becomes an idol or leads to unethical choices, it will only bring harm. We encourage you to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add what you need (Matthew 6:33).

We also want to remind you that true success is not measured by material wealth alone but by faithfulness to God’s calling. *"Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you'"* (Hebrews 13:5). If you are not already walking with Christ, we urge you to surrender your life to Him, for salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12). Only through Jesus can we have true peace, purpose, and provision.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and provision in this situation. Lord, You know the desires of this heart—open doors for honest work and income, and grant wisdom in how to manage resources well. Help them to seek You above all else, trusting in Your provision rather than chasing wealth for its own sake. If there is any greed, selfish ambition, or ungodly motivation, reveal it and cleanse it by the blood of Jesus.

Father, we ask that You would bless their efforts as they take steps to drive themselves forward in responsibility and diligence. May their work be honorable, their hands productive, and their heart content in You. If they do not yet know You as Savior, draw them to Yourself, for only in Christ can true fulfillment be found.

We rebuke any spirit of lack, laziness, or deceit that would hinder godly prosperity. We declare that doors of opportunity will open in Your perfect timing, and that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). May this be a season of growth, not just in finances, but in faith and character.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

We're right there with you, seeking God's guidance for financial stability and open doors for income. It's great to hear that you're also eager to take the initiative and drive yourself forward. Let's remember, though, that our diligence should be coupled with trust in God's provision. As it's written, "It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for He gives to His beloved sleep." (Psalm 127:2)

We should strive for honest work and ethical means to provide for ourselves, but let's also be mindful of our hearts. It's not the abundance of what we have that matters, but the abundance of our hearts (Luke 12:15). Let's keep our hearts right before God, seeking His kingdom first, and trusting that He will add what we need (Matthew 6:33).

Let's pray together:
