I want my woman back

Disciple of Prayer
My woman miss ### has been misbehaving lately and blocked all means of my reaching her. It hasn't happen like this before since about two years we have been together. I heard that a certain man doing online scamming is enticing her with money. Please help me and pray against such influence so that she would be freed. The man orders and controls her around remotely. I want her back into my life. We have always been there helping each other. I don't know what came over her this time or what was used on her. Thanks.

We hear your heart and the pain you are feeling over this separation after two years together, and we join with you to seek God's will in this situation in Jesus' name.

We want to lovingly address what you have shared in light of Scripture. You refer to this woman as your woman, but you do not speak of her as your wife. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we encourage courtship that is intentionally moving toward godly marriage between two believers in Christ. If you have been living together or engaging in intimacy outside of marriage, Scripture calls that fornication and calls us to turn from it. We say this not to condemn you but to call you to God's best. As it is written, flee sexual immorality, 1 Corinthians 6:18, and let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, Hebrews 13:4. We also are told not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14, so we encourage you to consider whether this relationship has been centered on Christ and whether you both know Him and are pursuing Him toward marriage. If marriage is your desire, we pray you would pursue it in a way that honors God, with purity, honesty, and commitment.

We also hear your concern that she may be enticed by money through a man involved in scamming who controls her remotely. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, 1 Timothy 6:10, and wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, Proverbs 13:11. Scamming, manipulation, and controlling another person are not of God, for God desires truth, integrity, and freedom. We will pray against that ungodly influence and for her to be freed from deception and greed, but we also cannot pray to force someone's will. God gives each person free will, and we must respect boundaries she has set, even as we pray for her eyes to be opened and for truth to be revealed.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently point this out because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, Romans 10:9, so your prayers are heard and your life is rooted in Him.

We pray together for you both.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask You to have Your perfect will in this situation. Lord, we pray for this woman, wherever she is, that You would protect her, open her eyes to any deception, greed, or manipulation, and deliver her from every evil influence and from the love of money that leads people astray. We pray that any dishonest scheme would be exposed and that the man who would use scamming and control would be convicted and brought to repentance. We pray that You would break every ungodly control and speak Your truth over her heart, that she would seek You first. We pray for our brother who submitted this request, that You would comfort him, for You are near to those who have a broken heart, Psalm 34:18, and give him wisdom, peace, and self-control. We pray that if it is Your will, You would restore communication in a healthy and godly way, but above all that both of them would be drawn closer to You. We pray for conviction where there has been sexual immorality or any sin, and for grace to repent and walk in purity. We pray that if this relationship is to continue, it would be as a Christ-centered courtship leading to godly marriage, and if not, that You would give grace to accept Your will and to trust You. We ask You to guard both hearts from bitterness and to help this brother to respect boundaries while entrusting this woman to Your care. We resist the enemy and ask You to deliver them from evil, for You are faithful to guard us from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and when we submit to You and resist the devil, he will flee from us, James 4:7. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord first, Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. Spend time in prayer and in the Word daily, surround yourself with godly counsel in a Bible believing church, and do not pursue her in a way that harasses or disregards her choice to block contact. Instead, entrust her to God, pray for her salvation and deliverance, and examine your own walk with Christ. If God wills restoration, let it be built on repentance, truth, and a shared faith that looks toward marriage. We will continue to stand with you in prayer that God’s perfect will be done and that both of you would come to know His peace and direction more deeply.

We hear how painful this has been for you. Two years of caring for and helping each other, and now to be cut off completely with no way to reach her, leaves a lot of confusion and hurt. It makes sense you would feel worried, especially hearing that someone else may be influencing her with money and control.

We are praying for you in this waiting, and we are also praying for ###, for her safety and for freedom from any pressure or manipulation around her. When someone has chosen to block contact, the most caring thing we can do is to respect that boundary, even while we keep praying. Trying to find other ways around it or to confront the other person directly often adds more strain and can make things harder for everyone.

It may help to talk this through with one trusted pastor or mature friend near you, someone who knows you both and can give you steady, personal guidance as you sort out next steps. We encourage you to keep bringing your hurt and your questions to the Lord honestly, and to focus on walking faithfully right where you are while you wait to see how God leads.

Father, we lift this man to You and we lift ### to You. Guard her from harm and from any controlling influence, give them both clarity and wisdom, and give him peace and strength in these days. Lead each of them toward what is good and true according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your sorrow has been laid before us and we have heard the heaviness of your heart in this trial. To be cut off from one you have loved and helped, and to fear that she is under a controlling and harmful influence, is a deep affliction, and we do not make light of it. The Lord knows your grief, and His ear is not shut to those who seek Him in truth.

We must tell you plainly that deliverance from sin and from every power of darkness is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He alone brings forth His people, and He does so when the Lamb is slain. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, and that ransom is Christ Jesus our Lord. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, I have found a ransom. There is a higher restoration than any earthly reunion, even the restoration of the soul to God through reconciliation by Jesus Christ, who was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them.

For this woman of whom you speak, we will pray. We will pray that the Lord in His mercy would deliver her from every evil influence, from the love of money which is a snare, from the power of any man who would order and control her for his own gain, and above all from the power of sin and darkness itself. We pray that she may be brought to see her need of Christ, to repent and to trust Him alone for salvation, and to walk in purity and truth. If she is being enticed or exploited, we ask the Lord to break that hold, to give her clarity and protection, and to set her feet in a safe place.

For you also we must speak with faithful love. You have asked us to pray that she would be freed and returned to your life as before. We cannot ask God to bless or to restore a relationship that is outside His holy ordinance. In Scripture, marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and both sexual union and living together belong only within that covenant. If you have lived as man and wife without being married, that is sin before God and needs repentance as much as any other sin needs the blood of Christ. Our prayer therefore cannot be that God would simply give you back a companionship on the former terms, but that He would have mercy on you both, forgive you through Christ, cleanse you, and lead you into holiness.

What then shall we ask? We will ask that God would do His perfect will in both your lives. We will pray that He would deliver you from despondency and teach you to trust not in your own will or running, but in His free grace. We will pray that if it be His will, and if you both are brought to repentance and faith and are willing to walk in His way, He might in His providence open a right and holy path toward marriage, with counsel, with purity, and with the blessing of God. And if it be not His will, we will pray that He gives you grace to accept His chastening hand, to live chastely and uprightly, and to declare the works of the Lord after affliction, saying with the Psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Seek first reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ. Confess your sins, trust wholly in His ransom, and commit your way unto Him. Do not seek to control her in return, nor to pursue her by means that dishonor God. Rather, commit her to Him who is able to deliver, and commit yourself to walk in obedience. Seek godly counsel in your local church, flee all impurity, and wait upon the Lord.

We will pray now that the clock of mercy may strike for you both, that He who delivered Israel with silver and gold, and who restores the fallen as He restored Peter with a look of love, may look upon you both, deliver you from the pit, and bring you into the light of His salvation. May the Lord grant you peace within and lead you to what is holy and good in His sight.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we share your sorrow in this painful and confusing time. To care for someone for two years and then to be cut off and unable to reach her is a deep distress, and it is right that you bring this burden to God in prayer.

Scripture teaches that God is faithful and will not allow His people to be tempted beyond what they can bear, but with every temptation He also makes a way of escape so that it can be endured. That way of escape is found as we turn to Him and draw strength from His grace, which we receive as we willingly seek Him. God also at times allows trials to remain for a season not to harm us, but to draw us to persevere in prayer and to take refuge in Him. Therefore we encourage you to continue in steady, patient prayer, not only for what you desire, but for what God desires for you and for her.

We also want to speak to you honestly in love about God's design. Scripture teaches salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. A dating relationship, even one that has lasted a long time and where you have helped each other, is not the same as that covenant. We cannot affirm or ask God to bless a relationship outside of that design, and we cannot pray that God would simply return a woman to you so that an unmarried relationship might continue as before. What we can and do pray for is something greater for both of you.

We will pray that God would protect this woman from manipulation and control, and from the enticement of money. The love of money and the desire for more is a powerful snare that has led many astray, and when someone uses wealth to order and control another person, it is not love but exploitation. We pray that she would be freed from any such influence, that she would see clearly, and that she would be kept safe. We pray also for the man you described, that he would turn from deceit and scamming and come to repentance and faith in Christ.

We will pray for you as well, that God would give you wisdom, self control, and peace. It is not right to try to control or compel another person to return, even when you are hurting. If you have been living together or sexually involved outside of marriage, we encourage you to turn from that and to seek purity and holiness before the Lord. Seek the Lord Jesus first for your own salvation and wholeness, and seek godly counsel in your local church. If marriage is something you both would desire in a way that honors God, that desire should be pursued openly, patiently, and purely, with counsel and without pressure or manipulation, and always submitted to God's will. If she has chosen to step away and has blocked contact, that boundary should be respected while you entrust her to God.

So our prayer is this, that God would draw both of you to Himself through Jesus Christ, that He would grant repentance where it is needed, deliverance from greed and deceit, freedom from any controlling influence, and clarity to do what is right. We pray that He would provide the way of escape from temptation for each person involved, and that He would give you patience and trust as you wait on Him and continue in prayer.

We encourage you to stay rooted in Scripture, to remain in fellowship with faithful believers who can walk with you, and to keep bringing your heart to God. He hears those who seek Him and He is able to bring good even out of painful trials for those who love Him.

Thank you for sharing what is on your heart and for asking for prayer. The pain of being blocked and cut off after two years of helping each other is real, and God sees both your hurt and your concern for this woman.

I want to point you first to what God most wants for you. He does not want a distant or ritual connection with you, but a close, living relationship as a Father with His child. Jesus taught us to pray, Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, and that shows the intimacy God offers. Sin always separates us from God, and the only way back is through Jesus Christ who gave Himself for our sins to deliver us and who was raised from the dead. Through faith in Him we are forgiven and brought into a new relationship, not a legal trying to earn favor, but a loving relationship where we know how much He loves us and we learn to love Him in return.

That loving relationship is also where true freedom is found. In Christ we are set free from the binding power of sin, whatever form it takes, whether it is greed, sexual sin, deception, or being controlled by another person. The freedom Christ gives is not just freedom to do what we want, but freedom not to be mastered by sin or by people. It is a freedom we need to guard carefully, and it comes by yielding to the Spirit and following Him from the heart. God does not want a half hearted or lukewarm walk. He calls us to turn to Him fully and to let Him be the guide of our lives.

You asked for prayer against the influence of a man who is enticing and controlling her remotely with money. It is right to pray for her freedom, because no person should be ordered around and controlled in that way, and the love of money is a snare that can lead people into great harm. We can pray that any deception, manipulation, and greed would be exposed and broken, and that she would be set free to think clearly and to choose what is right before God. God is able to set people free from any power that holds them.

At the same time, the most important human relationship we experience is marriage, and Scripture presents it as a beautiful picture of the relationship between Christ and His church. By God's design marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. If you and this woman have been together outside of that covenant, God lovingly calls you both to a different path, not simply to get back what was before, but to seek holiness and His will above all. That means seeking Him first, pursuing purity, and if there is to be a future together, pursuing it in a way that honors Him, with counsel, commitment, and marriage in view, rather than continuing as before. It also means respecting her present choice to block contact and not trying to force or manipulate a return.

So my prayer for you is not that God would simply restore the relationship as it was, but that He would do what is truly good for both of you. I am praying that you would know His forgiveness and peace through Jesus, that you would grow in that close Father child relationship with Him, and that you would find your security and wholeness in Him even in this loss. I am praying that she would come to know Christ as well if she does not, that she would be delivered from any controlling or deceptive influence and from the lure of money, and that God would protect her and bring truth and clarity to her mind. I am praying that the man who is seeking to use her would be stopped in his wrongdoing and brought to repentance. And I am praying that God would give you wisdom, patience, and grace to accept His will, whether that means a future together in a godly marriage if He so leads, or the grace to let go and move forward in purity and trust in Him.

If you have not already, bring your hurt and your desires honestly to the Father, ask Him to cleanse you and lead you by His Spirit, and seek wise and godly counsel from mature believers who can walk with you. Keep praying, keep seeking the Lord Himself more than any answer, and trust that He loves you and wants what is best for you.

May the Lord draw you both to Himself, set you free from every bondage, and guide your steps in His truth and love. In Jesus name, amen.
