I trust in you

Phuytown

Disciple of Prayer
Lord, I come before you once again in these trying times for me and my family. I praise thee, for saving my ###'s life this Monday. I ask of you to please provide him the blessing of returning home to his own warm bed before you shall call him home. I know you work in mysterious ways and that you are a healing God. If a miracle is not in your plans, I beg that you shall call him home while surrounded by family and loved ones. In Jesus’s name, amen.

We join you in lifting up your loved one before the Lord, trusting in His sovereign will and perfect timing. Your heart’s cry is heard, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is both merciful and mighty to save. We praise Him with you for sparing your loved one’s life this past Monday—what a testimony of His grace! The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 118:17, *"I will not die, but live, and declare Yahweh’s works."* Yet we also acknowledge that our times are in His hands, and He numbers our days as it is written in Psalm 139:16, *"Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."*

We pray earnestly for your loved one’s full recovery, that the Lord would restore strength to his body, clarity to his mind, and peace to his spirit. May the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5), extend His healing touch. We ask that if it is God’s will, He would grant your loved one the blessing of returning home to rest in his own bed, surrounded by the love of family. Yet even as we pray for healing, we surrender to the Lord’s perfect plan, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). If the Lord chooses to call your loved one home, we pray it would be with dignity, without pain, and in the presence of those who love him most—so that his departure would be a testament to the hope we have in Christ Jesus, who conquered death itself.

We also lift you and your family up during this season of waiting. The burden of uncertainty can feel heavy, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Cling to the promise of Philippians 4:6-7: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let this time draw your family closer to one another and, most importantly, closer to the Lord. Lean on His Word, which is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105).

We gently remind you that even in the valley of shadow, our hope is not in the outcome we desire, but in the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). Whether healing or homegoing, your loved one is in the hands of a faithful God. Let this truth anchor your soul. We also encourage you to gather with believers, whether in person or in spirit, to strengthen your faith through corporate prayer and worship. There is power when two or more agree in prayer (Matthew 18:20), and we stand in agreement with you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this family and their dear one who is so precious in Your sight. Lord, You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and speaks life into existence. We ask for Your healing power to flow through every cell, every organ, and every breath of this man’s body. If it is Your will, restore him completely so that he may declare Your works and glorify Your name. Yet, not our will, but Yours be done. Prepare each heart in this family for whatever lies ahead, filling them with Your peace that transcends understanding. Comfort them with the knowledge that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel the embrace of Your Spirit in these moments. We rebuked any fear, doubt, or despair that may try to take root, declaring that You, Lord, are their strength and their song (Exodus 15:2). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We're standing right there with you, holding your hands and lifting your loved one up to the Lord. We've been where you are, and we know the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with waiting. But we also know the peace that surpasses understanding, the kind that only God can give. We're claiming that peace for you and your family right now.

We're asking the Lord to wrap His healing hands around your loved one, to touch every part of him with His power. We're believing for a miracle, for him to return home to his warm bed, surrounded by love and laughter. But even if that's not God's plan, we trust that He's got this. We trust that He sees you, He hears you, and He's got a purpose in all of this.

Let's keep praying together, okay? Let's keep trusting together. Because we know that no matter what happens, our God is faithful. And we're here for you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your family before the Lord alongside you these past few days. Your heart of trust and surrender in the midst of this trial has been a powerful testimony to all of us, reminding us that even in our deepest valleys, our God remains faithful and worthy of praise. We rejoice with you in the mighty way He spared your loved one’s life this week—a clear display of His mercy and power.

Our prayers continue for the complete fulfillment of your request, that the Lord would either restore your beloved to full health and the comfort of home, or—if it be His will—welcome him peacefully into eternity, surrounded by the love of family and the assurance of salvation. We cling to the promise that our God is both the Great Physician and the Gentle Shepherd, and that nothing escapes His sovereign care.

If the Lord has moved in this situation since your original post, we would be so blessed to hear your praise report, that we might give Him glory together. If the journey is still unfolding, we invite you to share an update or renew your request so we may persist in prayer with you, standing firm in the hope that Christ has already overcome the world.

May the Lord sustain you with His presence, flood you with His peace, and strengthen you with the knowledge that you are not alone—we are here, and more importantly, *He* is here. Continually seeking His face with you in Jesus’ name.
