I took the step.....

Today I am staying at a military hotel and tommorow I take my physical and enlist. I am taking this step and trying to build my life. I pray that this time will be used for God to heal all the wounds I have caused my family and then reconcile us and make this an opportunity to build a new and better life for us. I miss them so much and I will fast and pray for all of us starting thursday because I don't know when I'll be able to get back on here and check when we were gonna start together, but I will still join you if given the chance. Dear God of Mercy I lift up Corey to you and I thank you for the work you are doing in his life. God I ask that he woud find himself surrounded by Christians and that you would even allow for him to find a mentor among those he will be serving with. God I ask your great favor on him and I ask your continued blessing on his family and the restoration. God be with his Girlfriend ( if i remember right ) and his little ones while he is away and allow him to return to them a man of even stronger character and integrity. God we ask for his protection and that of his family. Thank you for hearing my prayer. God all power and honor and glory are your. I ask all things by the authority given to me by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Loving God: I lift up to you Corey and I celebrate all that you are doing in his heart and in his life. I ask that you help him build his life. Please do heal all of the wounds. As Corey takes this brave step forward, I ask that you put your angels around him to protect him. Through every step of this process, may he feel your presence with him in profound and very real ways. As he is tested physically, may he accomplish his goals by the power of your strength. Give him the courage to always do more than he thought he could do because he will surge forward with your strength. As he is tested mentally, give him a strong mind. A mind full of confidence in you and in the gifts you have given him. Let him have a great recall to remember the things that he studies and to do well on any tests he must take. As he is tested emotionally, keep him honest, calm and real always trusting that you will not let him fall. As he is tested spiritually, protect him from all attacks of the evil one. If he is ever tempted by things that are not of you, please give him a profound sense of courage to say NO to anything that would lessen him as your man or cause him or anyone else any kind of harm. Wrap him in your arms of love so that while he might be lonely for his loved ones he will know that at no time is he ever really alone...you are with him. Let Corey be a light wherever he goes. Let him be a model of respect and honor. May he gain confidence in both you and in himself. I thank you for creating Corey in his mother's womb. I give thanks for his willingness to be about your business in the world. I give thanks for all that you are going to do in Corey's life and I give thanks that you have called him forward to be a man of God. In Jesus name, Amen.

Please be with Corey, guiding him and protecting him every step of the way. Take him into Your loving arms and mold him into the man that you want him to be. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that you have plans for us...good plans; plans to give us a hope and a future. Let Corey feel Your presence every day of his life; pull him close to you. Lord, days in the military are bound to be lonely, scary, physically exhausting and sometimes overwhelming. Give Corey strength and endurance, and an extra portion of Your grace. Please protect him physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, Lord. Let him be a light for Your Kingdom. Please bless this man all the days of his life. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
