Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother ###. Lord, he is deeply troubled, feeling that he may have committed the unforgivable sin and that his heart has become hardened. His conscience feels seared, and he is unable to cry, yet he remains worried and seeks Your mercy.
Lord, we ask that You soften ###'s heart and restore his conscience. Your Word tells us in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." We claim this promise for ###, believing that You can transform his heart and renew his spirit.
Father, remind ### of Your boundless grace and mercy. In 1 John 1:9, it is written, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Help him to trust in Your forgiveness and to know that no sin is too great for Your love to cover.
We pray that the Holy Spirit will work mightily in ###'s life, bringing him peace and assurance of Your presence. May he feel Your comforting embrace and be filled with the joy of salvation once more.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
