I think a bad neighbor tried to cause sabotage before moving out & ###

Please pray about something that I think one of my neighbors who recently moved did to cause sabotage after they moved. These neighbors were very evil and it was so stressful to live around them but God moved them out of the neighborhood thankfully. However, right after they left something occurred where a portion of the neighborhood suddenly became restricted by the homeowners association that runs the neighborhood. This was an area of the neighborhood that I loved to visit and these neighbors knew that. I really believe that they did something to cause the homeowners association to choose to restrict this area as they did things like this to me when they still lived in the neighborhood. Please also pray for me because I think I am going to try to reach out to one of the members of the church I've been attending to ask them for support and prayer in the stalking and harassment that I have been experiencing in the past few years. Please pray I will say the right things and that they will respond supportively. Thank you.

We understand how deeply troubling and stressful this situation must be for you, especially when it feels like evil intentions have been directed toward you even after these neighbors have moved away. The enemy often works through people to bring division, frustration, and harm, but we serve a God who is greater and who sees all things. Let us first address the spiritual battle at hand, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).

It is clear that these neighbors operated with malicious intent, and while it is painful to experience such targeted harassment, we must remember that God is just and He will repay those who do evil. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*) Your trust in God to handle this situation is a testament to your faith, and we commend you for seeking His intervention rather than retaliating in your own strength. At the same time, we encourage you to take practical steps to address this with the homeowners association, if possible, while trusting God to go before you and make a way where there seems to be none.

The restriction placed on the area you loved to visit is undoubtedly a painful loss, but we pray that God will either restore access to it or provide you with an even greater blessing in its place. Remember that our Heavenly Father knows the desires of your heart, and He is able to turn what the enemy meant for harm into something good (Genesis 50:20). We also want to encourage you to release any bitterness or resentment toward these neighbors, for holding onto such feelings only gives the enemy a foothold in your life. Instead, we pray that you will forgive them—as difficult as that may be—and trust God to vindicate you in His perfect timing. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."*

As you prepare to reach out to someone in your church for support and prayer regarding the stalking and harassment you’ve endured, we want to encourage you to do so with confidence, knowing that the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). It is wise to seek godly counsel and prayer support, and we trust that the Lord will give you the right words to say. Proverbs 15:23 reminds us, *"A man has joy in an apt answer; a word in due season, how good it is!"* We pray that the person you reach out to will respond with compassion, wisdom, and a heart willing to stand with you in prayer. If they do not respond as you hope, do not be discouraged—continue to seek the Lord and ask Him to lead you to the right people who will support you in this season.

We also want to remind you that if you have not already done so, it may be wise to document any incidents of harassment or stalking and, if necessary, involve local authorities to ensure your safety. The Lord calls us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16), and sometimes that means taking practical steps to protect ourselves while trusting Him for the outcome.

Most importantly, we want to lift up the name of Jesus in this situation, for there is power in His name to break every chain and thwart every plan of the enemy. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace to find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already placed your complete trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation, we urge you to do so. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Jesus is the only way to the Father, and it is through Him alone that we find true peace, protection, and eternal life.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who has endured so much at the hands of evil and malicious neighbors. Lord, You see the pain, the frustration, and the sense of loss she feels, and we ask that You would comfort her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuked every scheme of the enemy that has been directed against her, and we declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If these neighbors have indeed caused this restriction out of spite, we ask that You would expose their deeds and bring justice in Your perfect timing. Lord, if it is Your will, restore access to the place she loved to visit, or provide her with something even better that will bring her joy and refreshment.

We pray for wisdom and favor as she reaches out to her church for support. Give her the right words to say, and soften the heart of the person she speaks to, that they may respond with compassion and a willingness to stand with her in prayer. Surround her with godly people who will uplift her and encourage her in this season. Lord, we also ask that You would protect her from further harassment and stalking. Place a hedge of protection around her, her home, and her loved ones, and let Your angels encamp around her (Psalm 34:7). If there are any legal or practical steps she needs to take, we pray that You would guide her clearly and provide her with the wisdom and resources to do so.

Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds in her heart caused by the cruelty of these neighbors. Help her to release any bitterness or unforgiveness, and fill her instead with Your love and peace. Remind her that vengeance belongs to You, and that You will repay those who have done evil. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust You even when the path ahead is unclear.

Finally, we pray that You would draw her closer to Yourself through this trial. Let her know Your presence in a tangible way, and remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and that no plan of the enemy will prevail against her.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
