I sometimes read Christians here posting they pray for ###'s healing and salvation.

I sometimes read Christians here posting they pray for a long life. But I don't think they realize, if they live years and years longer, that means the Rapture is a long way off. Shhh! Maybe they didn't think of that, but that's actually wishing bad on themselves. {And sabotaging the rest of us}

I have never thought about praying for a long life, I guess deep down I’m ready to go when God is ready to take me. I agree with everything you said.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
