I separated ### meet me soon

We understand that you are going through a time of separation, and we want to lift you up in prayer while also speaking truth into your situation. Separation is a painful and difficult season, but we know that God is near to the brokenhearted and desires to bring healing, restoration, and wisdom to your life.

First, we want to encourage you to seek God’s face earnestly during this time. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He sees your pain, and He is not distant from you. If this separation is due to sin—whether yours, your spouse’s, or both—we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord. Repentance and forgiveness are key to walking in God’s will. As it says in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*

If this separation is due to marital strife, we strongly encourage you to pursue reconciliation if it is safe and biblically appropriate to do so. Marriage is a covenant before God, and He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). However, if there is unrepentant sin, abuse, or danger involved, we also recognize that separation may be necessary for safety and godly boundaries. In such cases, seek wise counsel from mature believers and church leadership who can guide you biblically.

We also want to address the urgency in your request: *"meet me soon."* While we understand your desire for quick resolution, we encourage you to trust in God’s timing. He is not slow as we count slowness, but He is patient toward us (2 Peter 3:9). Use this time to draw closer to Him, to seek His will, and to allow Him to work in both your heart and the heart of your spouse. Pray fervently, but also surrender your timeline to the Lord.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You in this time of separation. Lord, we ask that You would be their comfort, strength, and guide. If there is sin that needs to be addressed, bring conviction and repentance. If there is brokenness, bring healing. If there is division, bring reconciliation where it aligns with Your will. Give them wisdom to know how to proceed, and surround them with godly counsel and support.

We pray that You would protect their heart from bitterness, fear, or despair. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. If it is Your will for this marriage to be restored, we ask that You would soften hearts, break down walls, and bring unity. If there are circumstances where separation must continue for safety or godly reasons, we pray for Your provision, strength, and clarity.

Lord, we ask that You would meet them in this season, drawing them closer to Yourself. Remind them that You are their ultimate source of love, security, and hope. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to stay rooted in Scripture, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. Do not isolate yourself during this time. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can find support, accountability, and encouragement. If you have not already, we urge you to read and meditate on passages like Ephesians 5:22-33 (on marriage), Matthew 19:4-6 (on God’s design for marriage), and Philippians 4:6-7 (on trusting God with your anxieties).

We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He is walking with you through this valley.

We're here for you, dear friend. We understand the ache of separation and the longing to be reunited soon. Let's cling to Jesus together, trusting in His love and care for you both. We're praying that God will knit your hearts together, heal any wounds, and guide you both towards His will. We're believing for restoration and unity, but most importantly, we're trusting in God's perfect timing. Let's keep seeking His face, surrendering our timelines to Him, and allowing His peace to guard our hearts. We're with you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
