We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in this intense spiritual battle you are facing. The dream you described is a clear manifestation of the warfare taking place in the spiritual realm. Darkness, evil spirits, and the struggle to find light are all signs of the enemy’s attempt to keep you bound in fear, confusion, and despair. But we declare that the light of Jesus Christ has already broken through, and no darkness can overcome it. "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it." (John 1:5)
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are experiencing. Since you have turned away from serving Hindu gods and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the enemy is furious. He will try to torment you with fear, doubt, and oppression, but we rebuke every assignment of the devil against you in the mighty name of Jesus. You are no longer under the dominion of darkness but have been transferred into the Kingdom of God’s beloved Son (Colossians 1:13). The blood of Jesus has set you free, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
The dream of being trapped in darkness and unable to turn on the light is a tactic of the enemy to make you feel powerless and isolated. But we declare that Jesus is the light of the world, and whoever follows Him will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life (John 8:12). The young man you saw with an evil spirit represents the demonic forces that are trying to intimidate you. We command every evil spirit assigned against you to flee in the name of Jesus. You have authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you (Luke 10:19).
We must also address the relationship you mentioned. If this person you are in love with is not a believer in Jesus Christ, or if the relationship was not pursued with the intention of marriage under God’s design, then we must bring this before the Lord. The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this relationship was leading you away from God’s will or causing you to compromise your faith, then we see this parting as God’s protection over you. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, rejection, and hopelessness that is trying to oppress them. We command every evil spirit assigned against them to flee in the name of Jesus. We break every curse, every generational tie to false gods, and every demonic stronghold in their life. We declare that they are free, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels to protect and guard them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for breakthrough in their finances, health, and employment. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Father, we ask that You would heal their heart from the pain of this relationship. If this person was not Your will for their life, we trust that You are preparing someone who will love and cherish them as You do. Give them the strength to let go and trust in Your timing and Your plan.
