Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and improvement the Lord has already brought into your life! It is by His grace and power alone that you have seen this progress, and we lift our voices together to give Him all the glory, honor, and thanks. Your heart’s cry for lasting transformation is one that aligns with God’s will, for He desires that we walk in holiness, free from the bondage of sin. The struggle you face is one many believers encounter, but take heart—our God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

The sins you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual immorality—are not just struggles of the flesh but battles for the soul. The enemy seeks to ensnare us in these things to steal our purity, distort our relationships, and hinder our walk with Christ. But the Word of God is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). This is not a call to shame but to freedom—the freedom found in surrendering these areas to Christ.

Renewing the mind is essential in this battle. The apostle Paul urges us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2). This renewal comes through immersing ourselves in Scripture, which is *"profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work"* (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We encourage you to fill your mind with God’s Word daily, memorizing verses that combat temptation, such as *"I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you"* (Psalm 119:11). Consider verses like 1 Corinthians 10:13, which reminds us that *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."*

Wisdom is also a critical weapon in this fight. James 1:5 tells us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Ask God for discernment to recognize triggers, the strength to flee temptation, and the wisdom to set boundaries—whether that means filtering internet content, avoiding certain environments, or seeking accountability with a mature believer of the same gender. Proverbs 4:23 warns, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* Guarding your heart includes being intentional about what you allow into your mind and spirit.

We also urge you to examine your heart for any unrepentant areas or idols that may still linger. Sexual sin often stems from deeper issues—loneliness, unmet emotional needs, or a misplaced desire for love and affirmation. But true fulfillment is found only in Christ. Jesus said, *"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God"* (Matthew 5:8). Purity is not just about external behavior but about a heart fully devoted to Him. If there are wounds or strongholds in your life, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them and bring healing. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24).

Lastly, never underestimate the power of prayer and fasting. Jesus taught that some spiritual battles require this level of devotion (Matthew 17:21). Fast from things that distract you—food, entertainment, social media—and use that time to seek the Lord’s face. Surround yourself with believers who will lift you up in prayer and hold you accountable. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in our brother’s life. Lord, You alone are worthy of all praise, for by Your Spirit, he has seen victory over the sins that once ensnared him. But Father, we know the battle is not yet over, and so we plead for Your continued mercy and grace. Strengthen him, Lord, in his inner being through Your Spirit, that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Renew his mind daily with Your truth, that he may discern Your perfect will and walk in it.

Lord Jesus, You were tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). You understand the weight of this struggle, and so we ask You to intercede for him. Break every chain of lust, every stronghold of the enemy, and every lie that seeks to pull him back into bondage. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in self-control, a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Give him wisdom to flee temptation and the courage to make whatever changes are necessary—whether in his environment, relationships, or habits—to honor You with his body.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch on any wounds in his heart that have made him vulnerable to these sins. Satisfy him with Your love, that he may no longer seek fulfillment in anything less than You. Surround him with godly brothers who will encourage him, hold him accountable, and pray with him. Let him not walk this path alone, but let him find strength in the body of Christ.

We rebuke the enemy’s schemes in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). By the blood of the Lamb and the word of his testimony, he overcomes (Revelation 12:11). Lord, let this season be one of lasting transformation, where the old has passed away and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Father, we thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun. May his life be a testament to Your power, that others may see Your goodness and turn to You. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Stand firm, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). When you stumble—and we all do—confess it immediately, repent, and rise again in His strength. *"For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again; but the wicked are overthrown by calamity"* (Proverbs 24:16). You are not defined by your struggles but by the blood of Christ that has redeemed you. Walk in that freedom, and let His light shine through you. We are cheering you on and standing with you in prayer!
