Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you have made by the power of God, and we give all glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ for the victory He has already granted you! Your heart’s cry for holiness and deliverance is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in you, and we stand with you in this battle for lasting freedom. The struggle you describe is one many believers face, but take heart—our God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). The fact that you are grieving over these sins and seeking God’s face is evidence of His grace at work in your life. Repentance is a gift, and your desire for purity is a reflection of the new creation you are in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

The sins you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual immorality—are not just personal struggles but attacks against the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These sins defile what God has declared holy and can create strongholds in the mind and heart if not fully surrendered to Christ. But be encouraged: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). The Lord sees your sincerity, and He will provide the escape—you must be vigilant to take it.

Renewing your mind is essential in this battle. The apostle Paul urges us: *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2). This renewal comes through immersing yourself in Scripture, which is *"profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work"* (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Fill your mind with God’s Word, memorize verses that combat temptation (such as 1 Corinthians 6:18, Matthew 5:28, and Psalm 119:9), and meditate on them daily. Starve the flesh of its sinful appetites by feeding your spirit with truth.

Wisdom is also critical. Ask God for discernment to recognize the triggers and patterns that lead you into temptation. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). This may mean making practical changes: installing accountability software, avoiding certain environments or relationships that fuel lust, or even fasting and praying for breakthrough. True wisdom will also lead you to flee from sin rather than flirt with its edges. Remember Joseph, who ran from Potiphar’s wife (Genesis 39:12)—his example shows us that sometimes victory means physically removing ourselves from temptation.

Flirting, even if it seems harmless, can be a gateway to deeper sin. It stirs up lust in your own heart and in others, which Jesus warned is already adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:28). Guard your words, your eyes, and your interactions, ensuring they honor God and reflect the purity He calls us to. *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one"* (Colossians 4:6). Your goal should be to build up others in Christ, not to indulge in empty or suggestive talk.

Deliverance is not just about stopping a behavior—it’s about replacing it with a deeper love for Christ. *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with my whole heart. Don’t let me wander from your commandments"* (Psalm 119:9-10). Fill the void left by sin with worship, service, and fellowship with other believers who will spur you on toward holiness (Hebrews 10:24-25). Accountability is vital; confess your struggles to mature believers who can pray for you and hold you accountable (James 5:16).

Finally, rest in God’s mercy. You are not saved by your ability to overcome sin but by Christ’s finished work on the cross. When you stumble, repent quickly and run to Him—not away in shame. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks Your face for complete deliverance from sexual sin. Lord, we thank You for the progress You have already wrought in his life, and we give You all the glory. You alone are worthy of praise for the work of sanctification You are doing in him.

Father, we ask that You would grant him a lasting and true transformation. Break every chain of addiction, every stronghold of lust, and every pattern of sin that has ensnared him. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, renew his mind daily, washing him with the water of Your Word. Make him wise, Lord—give him discernment to recognize and flee from temptation before it takes root. Teach him to walk in Your ways, to guard his heart, and to fix his eyes on You alone.

Lord Jesus, You were tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). You understand the depth of this battle, and You have already won the victory. We ask that You would fill our brother with Your strength, that he may stand firm in Your power. Let him experience the truth that *"sin will have no dominion over him, since he is not under law but under grace"* (Romans 6:14).

Father, we pray for a deep work of repentance in his heart. Convict him quickly when he strays, and draw him back to Yourself in humility. Surround him with godly brothers who will walk alongside him, encourage him, and hold him accountable. Let him find his satisfaction in You alone, that the pleasures of sin may grow strangely dim in the light of Your glory.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that tell him he is defined by his struggles. Lord, remind him that he is Your child, bought with a price, and called to holiness. Let him walk in the freedom You have purchased for him, no longer a slave to sin but a bondservant of righteousness (Romans 6:18).

We ask for Your mercy to flood his life, for Your voice to speak clearly to his heart, and for Your deliverance to be complete. May he know the truth of Your promise: *"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"* (John 8:32). Set him free, Lord, and keep him free, for Your glory and his joy.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep fighting the good fight of faith, knowing that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 1:6). We are praying for you and believing for your total victory in Christ!

We're right here with you, brother. We've been where you are, and we know the power of God that's in you. Let's keep fighting together, shall we?

First, let's thank God for the progress you've already made. It's a testament to His grace and power in your life. But we know you're hungry for more, and we're right there with you.

We're going to keep praying for you, that God would help you in this battle. We're asking Him to give you strength to resist temptation, wisdom to recognize it, and humility to run to Him when you fall. We're believing for a complete transformation, not just a temporary fix.

But we also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. Spend time with Him in prayer and His Word. Let it fill your heart and mind, crowding out the lies and temptations that come your way.

And remember, you're not alone in this. We're here for you, and so is the entire body of Christ. Don't be afraid to reach out, to share your struggles, and to ask for help. That's what we're here for.

So, let's keep fighting the good fight, together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
