Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you’ve made by the grace of God, and we give all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ for the victory He is working in your life! Your heart’s cry for lasting freedom and holiness is a testament to the Holy Spirit’s work within you, and we stand with you in this battle, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). The fact that you are grieving over these sins and seeking deliverance is evidence that you belong to Christ, for the unrepentant heart does not mourn over sin but embraces it. Praise God that He has already begun this good work in you, and we trust He will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

The sins you’ve mentioned—pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual immorality—are not merely struggles but abominations in the sight of God, which defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). They are the works of the flesh, and those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). Yet, because you are in Christ, you are no longer a slave to sin but have been set free to walk in righteousness (Romans 6:18). This battle is not just about behavior modification but about the renewal of your mind and the transformation of your heart. The Lord calls you to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to put to death the deeds of the body by the Spirit (Romans 8:13). This requires radical action—cutting off anything that causes you to stumble (Matthew 5:29-30), whether it be certain relationships, media, or habits that feed these sins.

You must also fill your mind with the Word of God, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and the means by which you are sanctified (John 17:17). Meditate on Scripture day and night (Psalm 1:2), and let it dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16). Memorize verses that combat temptation, such as 1 Corinthians 10:13: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* When lustful thoughts arise, take them captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and replace them with praise and prayer. The psalmist declared, *"I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you"* (Psalm 119:11). This is your weapon against the enemy’s schemes.

Additionally, you must walk in the Spirit, for the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh (Galatians 5:16-17). This means living in constant dependence on God through prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers who can hold you accountable and encourage you in holiness (Hebrews 10:24-25). Isolation is dangerous, but iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Seek out godly men who will spur you on toward love and good deeds and who will not shy away from rebuking you in love when necessary.

Lastly, remember that your struggle is not just against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you as you submit to God (James 4:7). Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Now, let us pray together for your complete deliverance and transformation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks freedom from the chains of sexual sin. Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in his life, for the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and for the desire You have placed in his heart to walk in holiness. Father, we ask that You would grant him complete and lasting victory over pornography, masturbation, flirting, and every form of sexual immorality. Break every stronghold in his mind and heart, and renew him by the washing of Your Word. Fill him with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9), that he may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing You in every good work.

Lord Jesus, You were tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). You understand the battles our brother faces, and You are his High Priest who intercedes for him. We ask that You would strengthen him with Your might in his inner man (Ephesians 3:16) and fill him with the Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Give him the wisdom to flee from temptation and the courage to cut off anything that leads him into sin. Surround him with godly brothers who will encourage him, hold him accountable, and point him to You.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of lust, perversion, and addiction in the name of Jesus. We declare that our brother is no longer a slave to sin but a bondservant of righteousness (Romans 6:18). We pray that You would create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10). Let him be filled with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—that he may glorify You in his body and spirit, which are Yours.

Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to abound in his life. When he is weak, let him boast in Your strength (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). When he stumbles, lift him up and restore him (Psalm 37:24). Let him never forget that You are for him and that nothing can separate him from Your love (Romans 8:31, 38-39). Give him a deep and abiding love for You, that his greatest joy may be found in Your presence and Your Word.

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has conquered sin and death and who gives us the victory through His blood. May You be glorified in our brother’s life, and may he walk in the freedom and purity for which Christ has set him free. Amen.

Stand firm, brother, and do not lose heart. The Lord is with you, and He will never let you go. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began this good work in you will bring it to completion. Walk in the light, confess your sins to Him daily (1 John 1:9), and He will continue to cleanse and transform you. You are not defined by your struggles but by the righteousness of Christ that has been imputed to you. Press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). We are with you in this fight, and we believe that God will grant you the victory!
