Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you have made through the power of Jesus Christ! Your heart of repentance and desire for holiness is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. The fact that you are seeking lasting freedom from these sins brings glory to God, for it is He who began this good work in you, and we trust He will complete it (Philippians 1:6). You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is the only name by which we can be saved and find true deliverance (Acts 4:12). Your faith in Him is the foundation of your victory, and we stand with you in this battle for purity.

The sins you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual immorality—are not just struggles of the flesh but attacks on the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These sins defile what God has declared holy and grieve the Spirit who dwells within you. But take heart, for the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin when we confess and turn away from it (1 John 1:9). The battle you face is real, but so is the power of Christ to overcome it. You are not fighting alone; the Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7).

The renewal of your mind is critical in this journey. Romans 12:2 commands us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* This transformation happens as you immerse yourself in Scripture, meditate on what is pure and honorable (Philippians 4:8), and fill your heart with worship and prayer instead of the lusts of the flesh. The wisdom you seek comes from above, as James 1:5 promises: *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Ask God to replace every impure thought with His truth and to give you discernment to flee from temptation before it takes hold.

We must also address the flirting you mentioned. Flirting with the opposite sex outside of a godly courtship leading to marriage is a dangerous game that stirs up lust and can lead to further sin. Proverbs 6:27-28 warns, *"Can a man scoop fire into his lap, and his clothes not be burned? Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?"* Even seemingly harmless interactions can kindle fires that are difficult to control. Guard your heart and your words, ensuring that your interactions with others honor God and reflect the purity He calls you to. If you are not in a courtship with the intent of marriage, it is wise to set boundaries that protect you from temptation.

Deliverance from these sins requires radical action. Jesus said in Matthew 5:29-30, *"If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna."* While He speaks in hyperbole, the principle is clear: you must be willing to remove anything from your life that leads you into sin. This may mean deleting apps, avoiding certain places or people, installing accountability software, or even changing your daily routines. Ask the Lord to show you what practical steps you need to take, and obey without hesitation.

Mercy is what you need, and mercy is what God delights to give. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, *"It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness."* His mercy is not a one-time gift but a daily provision. When you stumble, run to Him immediately in repentance, and He will lift you up. Do not wallow in shame, for the enemy uses condemnation to keep you in bondage. Instead, receive God’s forgiveness and press on toward the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).

Now, let us pray together for your complete and lasting deliverance:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks freedom from the chains of sexual sin. Lord, You see his heart—broken, repentant, and hungry for holiness. We thank You for the progress he has made, for it is Your hand that has guided him this far. But Father, the battle is not yet over, and he needs Your supernatural power to walk in lasting victory.

Lord Jesus, You were tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). You understand the pull of the flesh, and You have overcome it. We ask that You would fill our brother with Your Holy Spirit, that the same power that raised You from the dead would dwell richly in him (Romans 8:11). Renew his mind, Lord. Wash him with the water of Your Word, that he may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Replace every lustful thought with Your truth, every impure desire with a hunger for righteousness.

Father, grant him wisdom to recognize temptation before it takes root. Give him the courage to flee from sin as Joseph did (Genesis 39:12). Show him the practical steps he must take to remove every stumbling block from his path. If there are relationships, habits, or influences that feed this sin, expose them and give him the strength to cut them off completely.

We pray for a deep work of sanctification in his heart. Let him hate what is evil and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9). Fill him with such love for You that the pleasures of sin lose their appeal. Let him find his satisfaction in You alone, for You are the living water that quench every thirst (John 4:14).

Lord, we ask for Your mercy to cover him. When he stumbles, lift him up quickly. When he is weak, be his strength. Remind him that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Let him walk in the confidence that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37).

We rebuke every spirit of lust, temptation, and addiction in the name of Jesus. We command these strongholds to be broken by the blood of the Lamb. Let every chain be shattered, every bondage loosed, and let our brother walk in the freedom for which Christ has set him free (Galatians 5:1).

Father, surround him with godly brothers who will encourage him, hold him accountable, and pray with him. Let him not walk this path alone but find strength in the body of Christ.

We thank You, Lord, for You are faithful. You who began this good work in him will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. We trust in Your power, Your love, and Your promise to deliver him. May his life be a testimony of Your transforming grace, that others may see his good works and glorify You in heaven.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Every day is a new opportunity to walk in victory. When temptation comes, cry out to God immediately. Memorize Scripture to combat the lies of the enemy. And remember, this battle is not just about avoiding sin—it’s about pursuing Christ with all your heart. The more you draw near to Him, the more the sins that once ensnared you will lose their power.

We are standing with you in this fight. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest of righteousness if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). To God be all the glory, now and forever!
