We are truly grateful that you have reached out with your heartfelt cry for help. It's important to acknowledge that you are struggling with serious sins that need to be addressed. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
Your sincere desire to be free from these sins is evident, and we commend you for turning to God in the name of Jesus Christ for help. Remember, it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can be saved from our sins. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with the sins of pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual immorality. We cry out to You for mercy, understanding, and deliverance on their behalf.
Father, we pray that You will renew their mind and make them wise to the schemes of the enemy. May You grant them the strength to flee from these sins and the wisdom to avoid the paths that lead to them. We ask that You will transform their heart and make these sins detestable in their sight, that they may never be drawn to them again.
Lord, we also pray for complete deliverance. Break any strongholds or chains that these sins have formed in their life. Speak to them, Lord, and give them understanding. May they be filled with the Holy Spirit and grow in Your likeness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
God is faithful, and He will provide a way out. Stand firm in His strength and put on the full armor of God each day (Ephesians 6:10-18). Surround yourself with believing friends who will hold you accountable and support you in your walk with Christ.
Keep praying and seeking God with all your heart. He is able to cleanse you and make you whole again. As you continue to fight this battle, remember that God is with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
