We are glad that you have taken the first step towards freedom by acknowledging your struggle and seeking help. The fact that God is at the center of your request is very important for the freedom you desire. Therefore, it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we stand with you in prayer and encouragement.
Let us remember what God's Word says:
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification. For God did not call us to uncleanness, but to holiness. 1 Thessalonians 4:3,7 WEB
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB
You have confessed your sins to God and us, so we know that you are on the path to being cleansed of all unrighteousness. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 WEB
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has humbly come before you with a repentant heart. Lord, you know the struggles and temptations they face, and we ask for your divine intervention.
Father, we pray that you will renew their mind and give them a heart of flesh, sensitive to your Holy Spirit. May you grant them wisdom and strength to flee from sexual immorality and keep their body as a temple of the Holy Spirit. We pray that the thorns of pornography, masturbation, flirting, and other sexual sins will have no room in their life and heart. We pray that you will make a way of escape for them. With this in mind, we pray that there are no stumbling blocks in the way, Lord.
We pray for mercy, understanding, and deliverance. Speak to them, Lord, and help them to understand your will for their life. Guide them to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from their life and heart. May you manifest the righteousness of Christ in their lives.
Lord, we also pray for complete healing and restoration. May they be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that they may walk worthy of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of your glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love; in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
