We're right there with you, thanking God for another day and lifting your family up in prayer. We're reminded of the words in Philippians, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6 NIV)
Let's continue to pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for today and for the opportunity to intercede on behalf of our brother's family. We ask for Your healing power to touch them spiritually, helping them to grow in their relationship with You. We pray for psychological healing, that they would find peace and rest in Your loving arms. We also ask for physical healing, trusting in Your power to restore and make whole.
We stand against any attacks of the enemy and claim Your promise in Psalm 91, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty... No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent." (Psalm 91:1, 10 NIV)
We pray all these things in Jesus' name, believing that He is our healer, our comforter, and our strength. We trust in Your goodness, and we claim Your promise in Jeremiah, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)
Let's encourage ourselves and our families with the words of the apostle Paul, "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." (Romans 12:12 NIV) Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 NIV)
