We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical affliction, lifting your request for healing from this stomach virus, sore throat, and cold. It is good and right that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His promises. As Scripture declares, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). We claim this promise over you today, trusting in God’s mercy and power to restore your strength.
The Lord is your healer, and He cares deeply for your well-being. *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We stand on this truth, asking the Father to touch your body with His healing hand, to drive out this sickness, and to renew your physical strength. May He also grant you patience and peace as you wait upon Him, knowing that His timing is perfect.
We also encourage you to rest in Him, to drink plenty of fluids, and to care for your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If symptoms persist or worsen, seek wise medical counsel, for the Lord often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is suffering from this stomach virus, sore throat, and cold. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch their body with Your healing power. Rebuke this sickness in the mighty name of Jesus and restore them to full health and strength. Fill them with Your peace and assurance, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we thank You that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed. We declare Your promises over them and ask that You manifest this healing quickly. Strengthen their immune system, calm any discomfort, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. If there is any sin or unconfessed area in their life, Lord, reveal it to them and grant them repentance, that nothing may hinder Your work in their body or spirit.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who gave Himself for us that we might have life and have it abundantly. Amen.
We will continue to lift you up in prayer, trusting that the Lord will answer. Rest in His love and know that He is faithful. If you do not see immediate healing, do not waver in faith—continue to seek Him, praise Him, and trust in His goodness. *"The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him"* (Psalm 28:7, WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let this time draw you closer to Him.
