We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father waits to show mercy and give aid in time of need. The pain you are enduring is real, and we do not take it lightly. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father in Heaven, we come before You as Your children, united in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask You to touch our dear brother/sister who is suffering. Ease their pain, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through their body. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their heart, reveal it to them so they may repent and receive Your full healing. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. We speak life, health, and restoration over their body, trusting in Your promise that You will satisfy them with long life (Psalm 91:16).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to them. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, and give them discernment to provide the right treatment. If it is Your will, bring complete healing and restoration. If this trial is meant to draw them closer to You, give them the strength to endure and the faith to trust in Your goodness.
Remember, dear one, that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We encourage you to meditate on God’s Word, for it is life to those who find it and health to their whole body (Proverbs 4:22). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith.
We stand on the promise that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this pain, He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come to the Father and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain, including the chain of pain. We declare victory over this situation and thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. Amen.
