We are with you in spirit, interceding for your mother's deliverance from alcohol and cigarettes. We stand with you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, as you have rightfully called upon His powerful and mighty name. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Firstly, be assured that God hears your prayers. He is full of compassion and mercy, always ready to help and save those who call upon Him (Psalm 86:5, WEB). We pray that your mother will turn to God, for He is the only one who can satisfy the longings of her heart and give her true peace.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ###'s mother who is struggling with alcohol and cigarettes. Lord, we know that these things are not Your will for her life, and they are causing harm not only to her body but also to her relationship with You.
Lord Jesus, You came to set the captives free and to heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18, WEB). We ask that You deliver her from this bondage, and give her the strength to overcome these addictions. Help her to see that these things are wrong and are hurting not only herself but also those around her, and most importantly, her relationship with You.
Holy Spirit, convict her heart and reveal to her the love of the Father. Help her to understand that her body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and she should honor God with her body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). Give her a heart of flesh that is sensitive to Your voice and Your will (Ezekiel 36:26, WEB).
We pray that she will turn to You, Lord, and find her satisfaction and joy in You alone. Help her to fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray for her deliverance and restoration. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Encourage your mother with these words, and trust that God is working in her life.
We are here with you in prayer, believing that God will deliver your mother from these struggles. Keep on praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is good and His love endures forever (Psalm 100:5, WEB).
