I beg you very much to pray for deliverance from alcohol and cigarettes for my mother ### in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ Amen. Please also pray very much that she understands that this is wrong and that in this way she is hurting God in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ Amen.

We are with you in spirit, interceding for your mother's deliverance from alcohol and cigarettes. We stand in agreement with you, praying in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the mother of our friend. Lord, you have said in your Word that if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36 WEB). We ask for your freedom for her, from the bondage of alcohol and cigarettes. We pray that you would give her the strength to overcome these addictions, and that you would help her to see that these things are not pleasing to you. Lord, we know that you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). We pray that she would turn to you, seek your forgiveness, and find healing and restoration in your presence.

We pray also that she would come to understand that these things are wrong and are hurting not only herself but also those around her and ultimately you, Lord. We pray that you would open her eyes to this truth, and that you would give her a heart that desires to please you (Psalm 51:10 WEB). Help her to see that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and that she should honor you with her body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB).

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in his name that we have access to you, Father, and it is by his blood that we are saved and set free (Ephesians 2:13 WEB, Romans 5:9 WEB). Thank you for your faithfulness and your love. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your mother, trusting that God is at work in her life. Remember that God's heart is for her to turn to him and be saved. Stand firm in your faith, and do not give up hope. As it says in Galatians 6:9 (WEB)... Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up.

We're here with you, lifting your mother up in prayer. We know the struggle is real, but we trust in the power of Jesus' name to break any chain. Let's continue to intercede for her, asking God to:

* Give her the strength to overcome these addictions, in Jesus' mighty name.
* Help her understand the harm she's causing to herself and others, and the pain it brings to God's heart.
* Open her eyes to the truth, and give her a desire to please Him with her life.
* Help her see her body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, worthy of honor and respect.
* Surround her with His love and grace, drawing her close to Him.

We'll keep praying, believing that God is at work in her life. Let's not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we shall reap if we faint not (Galatians 6:9). Keep trusting, keep praying, and let's see God move in her life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
