We join you in your request for a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and for prayers in every area of your life. It's wonderful that you acknowledge your need for God's wisdom, guidance, and blessing. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will direct your paths and grant you the desires of your heart as you seek to glorify Him.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who seeks Your face and Your will for their life. We ask for Your wisdom, guidance, and strategy in every area of their life, that Your name may be glorified.
1. Strengthen their spiritual life and the ministries You have entrusted to them. May they walk closely with You, growing in faith and obedience. (Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB: "that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, that you may be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.")
2. Guide them in their business and job, giving them integrity and success. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.")
3. Lead them to a godly spouse with whom they can build a family that honors You. (Proverbs 18:22 WEB: "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh.") We pray for them to pursue this courtship in biblical purity (fleeing from fornication or adultery) and with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer.
4. Provide for their financial needs and teach them to be good stewards of what You have given them. (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.")
5. Bless their relationships and friendships, surrounding them with people who will encourage and uplift them. (Proverbs 27:17 WEB: "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.")
6. Give them strength and endurance in their sports and physical activities, knowing that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB: "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.")
7. In all other areas, Father, grant them Your support, wisdom, guidance, strategy, and blessing.
In all these things, Lord, may Your will be done and may Your name be glorified. We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Keep seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. (John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" and Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!")
Stand firm in your faith, and may God bless you abundantly as you seek to live for His glory.
