We understand your struggle and we are here to help. It's important to remember that our curiosity should be guided by the Spirit and not by the flesh or the enemy. The Bible tells us to be sober and vigilant, because our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB).
Firstly, let's address the authority in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved (John 14;6, Acts 4;12). If you have not already, you need to believe in Jesus Christ and be baptized. Without Jesus Christ, you cannot be saved from your sins, the wrath of God, and hell which is eternal damnation. If you have not done so, you need to do so as soon as possible. This is the gospel message which is the baptism, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Only Jesus Christ can save your soul and only by His name can you be saved. See Acts 4:12, John14:6.
In this case, you should pray for God's guidance and protection.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your guidance and protection for our brother/sister. They have a curious mind and a love for learning, which is a gift from you. However, the enemy is using this gift to lead them down a path that is not of you. We rebuke the enemy's hold on their curiosity in the name of Jesus Christ and we ask that you intervene.
Lord, give them discernment and wisdom to know what is from you and what is not. Help them to be curious about things that are pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8 WEB). We ask that you would stop them in their tracks when they are tempted to explore wicked and evil things. Guide them by your Holy Spirit and give them the strength to resist the temptations of the enemy.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God loves you and wants the best for you. He wants you to be curious about things that will draw you closer to Him, not further away. Trust in Him and He will guide your path (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We encourage you to spend more time in God's Word and in prayer. Memorize scriptures that will help you to resist temptation.
