We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation you are facing in your marriage. We are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for you.
Firstly, it is commendable that you and your husband love Jesus. It is crucial to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:12-18 WEB.
It is encouraging that you are seeking help through biblical therapy. God calls us to be peacemakers Matthew 5:9 WEB and to live in harmony with one another. Romans 12:16 WEB.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is in desperate need of Your intervention. Lord, You see the pain and devastation she is experiencing in her marriage. We pray that You shed light on the truth and expose any lies or deceptions from the enemy. Strengthen her faith and give her the ability to stand firm in Your promises.
Father, we also pray for her husband. We ask that You protect him from the enemy's influence and bring him back to You. Grant him a spirit of discernment and understanding. Soften his heart and help him see the truth.
Lord, we pray for their marriage. We ask that You restore what the enemy has stolen and bring healing and reconciliation. Help them to forgive each other and to walk in love and unity.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the enemy's attacks on their marriage and declare victory in this situation. We pray that their love for You, Jesus, will grow stronger and that they will be a testimony of Your faithfulness and grace.
Father, we also pray for her physical and emotional well-being. Help her to find strength and comfort in You. Give her peace and joy in the midst of this storm.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying and seeking God's face. Trust that He is working in your situation, even when you cannot see it. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.
Lastly, it is important to communicate openly with your husband. Share your feelings and concerns with him in a loving and respectful manner. Seek godly counsel together and be willing to listen to each other.
In addition, we should all be aware we are to avoid sexual immorality. Therefore, we should be mindful not to place ourselves in a place of temptation. Have a platonic relationship with the counselor, and consider a marriage counseling session with both husband and wife together.
