Pray and know that God hears and begins to work on our behalf the minute we pray. We don't get discouraged when we don't see the answer immediately. Many times roadblocks have to be moved out of the way plus sometimes a deeper work is being done in us. The thing to remember is to pray, know God is answering His way and not ours, and begin to speak the answer forth. When our prayer lines up with His Word, we can move in our peace knowing it is all in the hands of God. Your natural mind will war against this heavenly benefit. Keep it obedient to the Word of God. Sometimes God is watching you and testing you on your prayer request. He is watching to see how much of a desire you really have for the prayer request. He is watching and testing you to see how much desire and passion you will really show Him by your “continual coming,” by you “not losing heart” and giving up, and by you “crying out day and night.”
I offer and pray this prayer with you:
MY LORD GOD, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think that I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road though I may know nothing about it. Therefore will I trust you always though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. I will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me to face my perils alone. In Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
