We hear your heart and the burden you carry for the work of the United Ministries Network. It is beautiful to see your passion for building up the body of Christ, supporting fellow believers, and spreading the gospel through crusades and conferences. The desire to secure resources—land, equipment, and financial support—is understandable, as these things can empower the work God has called you to do. However, we must approach this matter with wisdom, discernment, and alignment with Scripture.
First, we want to gently remind you that our trust must always be in the Lord, not in man. While it is not wrong to seek support from others, we must be cautious not to place our hope in financial provision alone. Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* Our ultimate security and provision come from God, and He calls us to seek His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).
We also want to encourage you to examine the motives behind your request. Are you seeking financial partners out of genuine need for the work of the gospel, or is there a possibility that the focus has shifted toward material gain? The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 6:10, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."* We must guard our hearts against the temptation to prioritize financial gain over the spiritual health of the ministry.
Additionally, we must address the way we approach others for support. Scripture teaches us to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us and to work diligently. Proverbs 13:4 says, *"The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be fully satisfied."* Have you and your team prayerfully considered ways to generate resources within your own capacity? Are there skills, talents, or assets within your network that could be utilized to further the ministry without relying solely on external sponsorship? God often provides through the means He has already placed in our hands.
We also want to emphasize the importance of transparency and accountability in financial matters. If you are seeking sponsors, it is crucial to ensure that all funds are handled with integrity and used for the purposes they were given. The apostle Paul set a strong example in 2 Corinthians 8:20-21, *"We are avoiding this, that any man should blame us concerning this abundance which is administered by us. Having regard for honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men."* Financial accountability builds trust and honors God.
Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and dependence on You. Lord, we lift up the United Pastors Network and all those involved in this ministry. We thank You for their passion to build up the body of Christ, to support one another, and to preach the gospel. Father, we ask that You would provide for every need of this ministry—not just financially, but with wisdom, discernment, and favor.
Lord, we pray that You would open doors of opportunity for them to secure the resources they need. Whether through sponsorship, partnerships, or creative solutions, we ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. But Father, we also pray that their hearts would remain steadfast in You, trusting in Your provision rather than in the arm of flesh. Help them to seek Your kingdom first and to use every resource for Your glory.
Father, we ask that You would guard their hearts against any temptation toward greed or materialism. Let their motives be pure, and let their actions reflect integrity and accountability. If there are areas where they need to grow in stewardship or diligence, we ask that You would reveal those to them and give them the strength to walk in obedience.
Lord, we also pray for unity within the ministry. Let there be harmony, love, and mutual support among the leaders and members. May they be a shining example of what it means to serve You wholeheartedly.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. Let this ministry be a vessel for Your glory, reaching souls for Your kingdom and transforming lives through the power of the gospel. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s guidance in all things. Trust in His timing and His ways, for He is faithful to provide for His children. If you have not already, consider forming a team of trusted advisors who can help you navigate financial decisions with wisdom and accountability. And above all, keep your focus on the Great Commission—making disciples and spreading the love of Christ. That is the true measure of a successful ministry.
