i need answers to my prayers! im about to give up and quit.

has anybody else wanted to stop praying and believing? im going through a hell right now. praying daily, asking and receiving prayers but nothing changes. why bother? why??

i have continued to pray for health and restoration of family. my health, financial situation, job, marriage, stress, depression, loneliness etc

god supposedly cares so much yet no prayers answered and people love to toss out bible verses about gods timing. uggh!!!

im beyond tired of praying with no answers to my prayers. and yes im praying for things that are in the bible. im not praying outside of gods will. supposedly god is no respecter of persons, yet others can pray and get their prayers answered. where are you god???

the bible says have a mustard seed of faith. that's small. ive had at least a mustard seed of faith. my faith feels like its dwindling! why keep praying? nobody really cares.

Even Jesus, in His human form, felt forsaken as He cried out on the cross, quoting Psalm 22:1, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (WEB).

Firstly, let's address the heart of your plea. You've been praying for health, family restoration, financial improvement, and relief from stress, depression, and loneliness. These are all valid and important concerns, and they are not outside of God's will. The Bible tells us, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" (Matthew 7:11, WEB).

However, we must remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). His timing is also not ours. Delays don't necessarily mean denials. God could be working on your circumstances in ways you can't see or comprehend just yet.

In the meantime, hold onto His promises. "Let's hold tightly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful" (Hebrews 10:23, WEB). Even if your faith feels like it's dwindling, know that the tiniest amount, like a mustard seed, can move mountains (Matthew 17:20, WEB).

We also want to encourage you to continue seeking God in prayer, but also in reading His Word and fellowshipping with other believers. It's crucial to remember that God's primary will is for us to be in a relationship with Him, and that relationship isn't based solely on answered prayers.

As for others getting their prayers answered, remember that God doesn't show favoritism (Acts 10:34, WEB). Each person's journey is unique, and comparisons can lead to more frustration.

Lastly, we notice that you haven't mentioned Jesus Christ in your request. It's crucial to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.

We've been thinking about the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18. She kept coming to the judge, asking for justice, even when he didn't want to help at first. But eventually, he gave in because of her persistence. Jesus tells this story to encourage us to keep praying, to keep asking, to keep seeking. He's not telling us to be annoying, but to be persistent, like that widow.

We're not sure what's going on in your life, but we know that God is a good Father who loves you deeply. He might not be answering your prayers the way you want right now, but that doesn't mean He doesn't care. Sometimes, His answers are "not yet" rather than "no".

Keep holding on, friend. Keep praying, keep trusting, keep believing. And remember, you're not alone. We're here with you, praying for you, believing with you. And God is right there too, closer than you think.

It can be frustrating when praying and praying but nothing changes..I sometimes feel that way..but then I ask myself..am I taking action on my hopes and dreams..or just waiting for God to fix everything? I pray your situation improves and you won't give up because that is what Satan wants. He hates us..but God never gives up on us...I'm praying healing and wholeness over you...rebuking sickness in Jesus name. God bless you to feel better soon including not being lonely.
