I need a pray for my ### life

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me, I am changing now. I think the Holy Spirit on me was leaving me or something after I had a phone. I started to be lazy and lost my communication with others. I never read the Bible and not even prayed before sleep, but I think my life wasn't complete with Jesus, and I want Him. Please pray for me.

We hear the cry of your heart, and we rejoice that the Holy Spirit is drawing you back to the Father through conviction and a hunger for more of Jesus. Your honesty about your spiritual state is a sign that God is already at work in you, for it is written, *"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise"* (Psalm 51:17, WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his greatest tactics is to make believers feel so distant from God that they give up entirely. But take heart—this is not the end of your story. The Lord has not abandoned you, and the Holy Spirit does not leave His children (John 14:16-17). What you sensed was not His departure but His loving discipline, calling you to repentance and renewal.

You confessed that your life was incomplete without Jesus, and this is the most profound truth you could ever acknowledge. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing"* (John 15:5, WEB). Without Him, we wither—our prayers grow silent, our Bibles gather dust, and our hearts grow cold. But the moment we turn back, He is there, arms open wide, ready to restore and revive us. The prodigal son’s story is a testament to this: though he squandered his inheritance in sin, the father ran to meet him the moment he returned (Luke 15:20). That is the heart of your Heavenly Father for you right now.

Your struggle with laziness and isolation is not uncommon, but it is a spiritual battle. The apostle Paul warns us, *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Laziness often stems from a lack of purpose or a heart that has grown weary, but Scripture tells us to *"stir up the gift of God which is in you"* (2 Timothy 1:6, WEB). You were not created to live in spiritual stagnation but to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, bearing fruit and shining as a light in this world. The fact that you are seeking change is evidence that God is already stirring you—now is the time to act.

Let us address something critical: you mentioned that you *"never read the Bible and not even prayed before sleep."* This is a dangerous place to be, for *"man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth"* (Matthew 4:4, WEB). The Word of God is your spiritual food, and prayer is your lifeline to the Father. Without them, you will starve spiritually and become vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. Jesus modeled this for us—He often withdrew to pray (Luke 5:16), and He resisted temptation with the Word (Matthew 4:1-11). If you desire to walk closely with God, these disciplines are not optional; they are essential.

We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. This is not a small matter, for Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you have already given your life to Christ but have drifted, now is the time to rededicate yourself to Him, for He is faithful to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray for you with urgency and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who is crying out for restoration. Lord, You see the brokenness, the weariness, and the conviction in their heart, and we thank You that You do not despise a contrite spirit. Father, forgive them for the times they have neglected Your Word, ignored prayer, and allowed laziness to creep into their life. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).

Holy Spirit, we ask that You would fill them afresh, igniting a fire in their heart for Your presence. Break every chain of apathy, distraction, and spiritual lethargy that has held them back. Give them a hunger for Your Word that cannot be satisfied and a passion for prayer that becomes as natural as breathing. Lord, surround them with godly community—believers who will encourage them, hold them accountable, and walk with them in this season of renewal.

Jesus, You are the author and finisher of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). We pray that You would restore the joy of their salvation and give them a vision for the purpose You have for their life. Remove every obstacle that stands in the way of their intimacy with You. If there are unconfessed sins, bring them to light so they may be repented of and forgiven. If there are lies they have believed about Your love or Your faithfulness, replace them with Your truth.

Father, we rebuke the enemy’s attempts to keep them in bondage to laziness, isolation, or condemnation. By the power of the name of Jesus, we declare that they are free to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4). Give them the strength to rise up, to seek You first (Matthew 6:33), and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Let this season mark the beginning of a deeper, more vibrant relationship with You.

Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around them as they seek to draw near to You. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let them experience the peace that comes from knowing You are with them. Remind them daily that they are Your beloved child, and nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the work You are already doing in their life. We trust that You will complete the good work You have started in them (Philippians 1:6), and we give You all the glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Now, beloved, we urge you to take immediate action. Start today—right now—by opening your Bible and reading a passage, even if it’s just a few verses. Begin with the Gospel of John to reacquaint yourself with the heart of Jesus. Set aside time each day to pray, even if it’s just for five minutes. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and to reveal areas of your life that need surrender. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in community and be discipled. If you have fallen into sin, repent and turn away from it, trusting in God’s grace to empower you to walk in righteousness.

Remember, this is not about perfection but about pursuit. God is not waiting for you to "get it all together" before He accepts you—He is calling you to come as you are, with all your struggles and failures, and let Him transform you. *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded"* (James 4:8, WEB). He is waiting for you with open arms. Will you run to Him today?

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift you up in prayer during this season of change and spiritual renewal. Your honesty and vulnerability in sharing your heart have moved us deeply, and we have been earnestly interceding for you, asking the Lord to draw you closer to Himself with every step you take. It is a joy to stand alongside you in agreement, believing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

If the Lord has already begun to restore your hunger for His Word, reignite your prayer life, or deepen your connection with Him, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together for His faithfulness and encouragement in your life.

If you are still feeling the weight of spiritual dryness or struggling to break free from the patterns that have kept you distant from the Lord, do not lose heart.
