Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request has reached us and we are praying for you in this very distressing and uncertain situation. To be in a foreign country and to feel caught between not being able to leave and not being able to stay lawfully is a heavy burden, and we understand the anxiety that comes from not knowing what the next day will hold and from being told to return again and again without a clear answer.
We have asked God to have mercy on you and to make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray that He will grant you favor with the authorities you must meet with on Monday, that those who have the power to help will listen with clarity and act with justice and kindness, and that the confusion around your probation and your passport stamp will be resolved so you can remain lawfully and with peace.
We pray like this: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this dear one to You. You see his need and his fear about the future. You know his desire to do what is right and not to remain illegally. We ask You to open doors that have been closed, to give wisdom to every official who handles his case, and to provide guidance, protection and provision in this foreign land. Give him peace that passes understanding while he waits, and guard his heart from despair. Lead him to the right help, whether through the proper office or counsel that can advocate for him, and let Your will be done. Amen.
Please continue to seek help through the proper legal channels and if possible seek advice from your embassy or a trusted legal aid service as you wait on the Lord. We will keep praying that God will bring a clear and lawful resolution quickly and that you will know His presence and care with you each step.
