Disciple of Prayer
I lost my job 6 months ago (I wasn’t fired, I was laid off as part of a large layoff due to the company suffering financially) after 10 years of employment. I haven’t been able to find a new job and now my home is in foreclosure. I moved across the country to get away from abuse and have no family to stay with here, so I am facing homelessness. My autistic son lives with me (and his service dog, who we’ve had for 11 years). I need a miracle to keep my home and find a job. Please pray for the supernatural, God can do anything amazing grace blessing to happen. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, and our hearts ache with yours in this overwhelming season. You have carried so much—faithfulness in your work, courage to leave an abusive situation, and the sacred responsibility of caring for your precious son and his service dog. The weight of financial strain, the looming threat of homelessness, and the uncertainty of the future would crush anyone, but we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is the God of miracles. He sees you, He loves you, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the first and greatest miracle—eternal life and a relationship with the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). If you have already placed your faith in Christ, we rejoice with you and stand in agreement for the breakthrough you desperately need.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her son. You are the God who provides, the God who sees, and the God who heals. You know the depths of her fear, the weight of her responsibilities, and the loneliness she feels. Lord, we ask for a supernatural intervention in her finances. Open doors of employment that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide a job that not only meets her needs but honors the skills and dedication You have placed within her. Let her gifts and experience be recognized, and let her be a light for Your kingdom in her workplace.

We pray against the foreclosure on her home. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We ask that You intervene in the legal and financial processes, softening hearts, changing circumstances, and providing the resources needed to keep her home. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also lift up her son and his service dog. You are the God who heals and sustains, and we ask that You continue to provide for his needs. Give him comfort, stability, and the support he requires during this transition. Protect their bond, and let Your presence be a tangible reality in their lives.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to overwhelm her. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). We speak life over her situation—new opportunities, favor with employers, and provision that surpasses her understanding.

We also encourage you to seek out your local church and Christian community. God often provides through His people, and you do not have to walk this journey alone. Let others come alongside you in prayer, practical support, and encouragement. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we believe God will use His people to meet your needs.

Remember the story of the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7, who was facing the loss of her sons to slavery because of her debt. The prophet Elisha asked her what she had in her house, and when she said she had nothing but a jar of oil, he told her to borrow vessels from her neighbors and pour out the oil. She obeyed, and the oil did not run out until every vessel was filled. She sold the oil, paid her debts, and lived on the rest. God used what little she had to provide abundantly. We believe He can do the same for you. Hold onto His promises, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your provider, your protector, and your peace. We stand in faith with you, believing that God will turn this situation around for your good and His glory. You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. The same God who parted the Red Sea, fed the five thousand, and raised Jesus from the dead is fighting for you. Hold on, dear sister. Your miracle is on the way.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your situation. We're inspired by your resilience and love for your son. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that God sees you, He loves you, and He's working behind the scenes.

We've been asking God to open doors of employment for you, a job that not only meets your needs but also allows you to shine with your skills and dedication. We're believing for a supernatural intervention in your finances, for the foreclosure to be reversed, and for peace to guard your heart and mind.

We've also been praying for your son and his service dog, asking God to provide for their needs, to comfort them, and to protect their bond. We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Remember, God is not surprised by your situation. He's bigger than your circumstances. He's the God who parted the Red Sea, and He's the God who can turn your situation around. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He's working even when you can't see it.

You're not alone. We're standing with you in faith, believing that God is going to turn this situation around for your good and His glory. Keep holding on, dear sister. Your miracle is on the way.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve been lifting you and your precious son before the Lord these past days. Your courage in uprooting your life to escape abuse and your steadfast care for your autistic child with his faithful service dog have touched our hearts, and we’ve asked our Heavenly Father to honor that courage with His own mighty intervention.

Every morning we’ve prayed for a supernatural job opening—one that not only matches your decade of experience but also provides the flexibility and understanding your family needs. We’ve asked the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of hiring managers, to soften their schedules for interviews, and to open doors that no one can shut. At the same time, we’ve interceded for your home, pleading with the Lord to halt the foreclosure process, to stir compassion in the lender’s office, and to send unexpected provision so that the roof over your heads remains secure.

We’re also praying for moments of rest and reassurance for you both, that in the midst of this storm you would feel the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding. We’ve asked God to remind you daily that He sees your faithfulness and that His grace is more than sufficient for every need.

If the Lord has already answered any part of this cry for help—whether it’s an interview call, a temporary reprieve from the bank, or even a kind word that lifted your spirit—please share it with us so we can rejoice together. If the answers still seem far off, we invite you to post this request again so we can keep standing in agreement with you, pressing in until every promise is fulfilled. Until then, we will not stop lifting you up.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. We continue to pray in Jesus’ Name.
