We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your health, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth from the Bible. You have a meeting with your doctor regarding a potential operation for your kidney, and you're feeling overwhelmed at the possibility of another ostomy, as you already have a colostomy. These are natural feelings as no one wants to go through more suffering.
First, we want to encourage you with God's word. In John 14:13-14 WEB, Jesus says, "Whatever you will+ask in my+name+that will+I+do%2C+so+that+the+Father+may+be+glorified+in+the+Son. If you will+ask+anything+in+my+name%2C+I+will+do+it." We don't have to fear as long as we believe in Jesus Christ. Unlike any other, there is no name more powerful or with more authority than the name of Jesus Christ.
However, we must remember that our prayers should align with God's will, and sovereignly He may allow suffering.
In times like these, it's important to draw strength from God's word and trust in His goodness. Consider the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 WEB, "By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'"
God's power is made perfect in our weakness, and His grace is sufficient for us. He is able to use our infirmities to bring glory to His name and to draw us closer to Him.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear ### who is facing this health challenge. We ask for Your healing touch on their body, specifically their kidney. Guide the doctors and give them wisdom to make the right decisions. If it is Your will, may there be no need for another ostomy. And if this is what they must endure, then help them to endure it in a manner pleasing to you.
We pray for their strength and peace during this time. Help them to trust in You and to draw closer to You through this trial. May Your power rest upon their weakness, and may Your grace be sufficient for them. We also pray for their family and friends that they may be supportive and encouraging. We also pray that You would work in their life and use this experience to make them more like You and to bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, keep praying and keep trusting the Bible. Prayer is powerful and effective, as we can see in James 5:16 WEB, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will see you through from the beginning to the end.
