I love watching some Christian television. Most of the time they seem to be doing telethons & I wish I had it to give but I don't & then I feel bad. I have heard it both ways, give with your credit card even if your in debt to plant seed and if your in debt not to give. Some of us give more than we make to our family, offering to give to those holding signs on the sides of the road offering meals and work to be denied most of the time that their dad is at the next corner denying their own signs. What do you think brothers & sisters? Should we give if we are deep in debt? Give to get out of debt? The woman with the 2 mites gave all she had. If we give to add to debt, is that better or is that wise at all? Is that what God wants for us? Are some of us in debt because we didn't give when we should have? Lord Jesus bless us to be debt free so we can give properly unto you in your name, amen.

I don't think God will hold it against  you if you do not give when things are tight.  But, on the otherhand, if you want to stretch your  faith and see what God will do go ahead and give.  He already knows your situation it's about what is in your heart and he sees that you desire to give but can't and he will bless you anyway.  It has happened to me.  Just keep praying he will see you through.
