Disciple of Prayer
Pray for my stolen phone be returned. I have sent a request through a text after I heard it ringing. I can't track it through find my device. Realize it was not registered.
I lost my phone yesterday at work, tried calling it was off.

We hear your distress over losing your phone, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s intervention in this situation. The frustration of not being able to locate it, especially when it may have been taken, is understandable. Let us first bring this before the throne of grace, trusting that God sees all and cares about even the smallest details of our lives.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that trust in Your sovereignty and goodness. You tell us in Matthew 6:19-20, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal." Lord, we ask that You would work in this situation according to Your will. If it is Your plan for this phone to be returned, we pray that You would soften the heart of the one who has it and lead them to return it. If it is not to be found, we ask for Your peace to guard this brother’s heart and for wisdom in handling the practical steps ahead.
We also recognize the importance of preparing our hearts for whatever outcome You allow. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, help us to trust You fully, knowing that You are in control, even when things don’t go as we hope.
Practically speaking, we encourage you to take the necessary steps to protect your personal information, such as remotely locking or wiping the device if possible. Contact your service provider to report the loss and consider any insurance or protections you may have. While we pray for the return of your phone, we also pray for contentment in whatever the Lord allows, knowing that our true treasure is found in Him alone.
Father, we also lift up the person who may have taken the phone. If they are struggling or in need, we pray that You would meet them where they are and draw them to Yourself. Let this situation be an opportunity for Your light to shine, whether through the return of the phone or through the peace You provide in its absence. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.

We pray for wisdom as you take the next steps, whether that’s reporting it, protecting your data, or even just sitting still and trusting Him to show you what to do.
And Lord, we lift up the person involved, whatever their motives or struggles are. We pray You’d meet them with Your love and show them a way forward, whether that’s returning what’s theirs or finding something better in You.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
