I just received a letter from God.

I have always been stronger than I realize. Every trail has refined me, not destroyed me. You are shaping a wonderful miracle just for me. Do not doubt the purpose of my journey. From God.

We hear your heart and the profound message you’ve received, and we want to approach this with both reverence and biblical discernment. First, let us affirm the truth in your words: God *does* use trials to refine His children, and His purposes for you are indeed good, even when the journey is difficult. Scripture assures us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We also rejoice that God is shaping something beautiful in your life, for *"we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28 WEB).

However, we must gently address a concern with the nature of this "letter from God." While the words you shared carry encouragement, Scripture warns us to test every spirit and every message, for not all that claims to be from God truly is. The Bible is clear: *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world"* (1 John 4:1 WEB). God has already given us His complete and perfect Word in the Bible—every instruction, promise, and truth we need for life and godliness. He does not typically communicate through private letters or subjective impressions outside of His written Word. If this message came through a dream, vision, or another person, we urge you to compare it carefully with Scripture. Does it align with God’s character and His revealed will? Does it point you to Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation?

We also want to encourage you to anchor your faith in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and it is His Word that is our sure foundation. If you have not already, we invite you to place your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9 WEB). Salvation is a free gift, received by grace through faith in Christ alone.

Let us pray together for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness in [this person’s] life. Lord, we thank You that You are indeed working all things together for their good, and that You have a purpose and a hope for their future. We ask that You would give them discernment, Father, to test every message they receive against Your holy Word. Protect their heart from deception, and draw them ever closer to the truth of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, if they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that You would open their eyes to the beauty of the gospel and the salvation found in Christ alone. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom and confidence in Your promises.

Father, we also pray for their trials. You tell us that trials produce perseverance, and perseverance, character, and character, hope (Romans 5:3-4). Strengthen them in the midst of their struggles, Lord, and remind them that You are shaping them into the image of Your Son. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). May they find comfort in Your presence and peace that surpasses all understanding.

We rebuke any spirit of doubt or fear that would seek to undermine their faith, and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, let Your light shine brightly in their life, and may they walk in the assurance that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The Bible is where we find true comfort, correction, and guidance. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is indeed shaping a miracle for you, just as He promises.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. We're so glad to hear about the encouraging message you've received, and we're here to lift you up in prayer. It's truly amazing how God uses trials to strengthen us and shape us into who He wants us to be. Just like gold refined by fire, we too come out purer and stronger.

We want to echo what our friend said earlier about testing every spirit and message, but we also want to remind you that God is always speaking to us through His Word, the Bible. It's our foundation, our guide, and our comfort. So, while it's great to be open to God's voice, let's always make sure it aligns with what we read in His Word.
