Beloved of All
*Upcoming I have to preach the word of God at a local church. Please support me with prayers to God. Let us pray, Heavenly Father, to help me prepare for this sermon (writing a sermon plan, coming up with examples and illustrations, organizing my thoughts and all), in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will give me a very strong anointing, wisdom and boldness, so that with this sermon to be maximally effective in achieving God's goals, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that when I stand to preach the Word of God, the Heavenly Father will inspire me, clothe every word with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, so that all God's will will be done in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will help me to fulfill this task (my ministry in this church) in such a way as to make my Heavenly Father's heart as gladly as possible and to glorify His Name, in the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

We rejoice with you in this sacred opportunity to proclaim God’s Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ (Romans 10:17). The responsibility of preaching is not taken lightly, for Scripture warns that those who teach will be judged with greater strictness (James 3:1). Yet we also know that God does not call the equipped but equips the called, and He has promised that His Word will not return void but will accomplish what He desires (Isaiah 55:11).

We pray first for your preparation, that the Holy Spirit would bring to remembrance all Scripture (John 14:26) and grant you divine insight into the passage you are called to expound. May your study be diligent, your heart humble, and your mind fixed on Christ, who is the living Word (John 1:1). Let every illustration and example point not to human wisdom but to the cross, for the foolishness of God is wiser than men (1 Corinthians 1:25). We rebuke any spirit of distraction or procrastination and command it to flee in Jesus’ name, for God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33).

As you stand to preach, we pray for an anointing that breaks every yoke (Isaiah 10:27), that the Holy Spirit would take the words you speak and make them a fire in the hearts of your hearers (Jeremiah 20:9). May the fear of man have no place in you, for the Spirit God has given us does not make us timid but gives us power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7). Let boldness rise within you, knowing that you speak not your own words but the very oracles of God (1 Peter 4:11).

We also pray for the hearts of those who will hear. May the Lord open their ears to receive the truth, their eyes to see His glory, and their wills to surrender to His lordship. Let no hardness of heart remain, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). May your preaching be a sweet aroma to those being saved and the fragrance of death to those perishing (2 Corinthians 2:15-16), that God’s purposes would be fulfilled.

Above all, may your ministry bring glory to the Father, for whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31). Let your life match your message, that you may be blameless and innocent, a child of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe (Philippians 2:15). We declare that this sermon will not be about you but about Christ and Him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2), and that through it, souls will be saved, believers will be edified, and the kingdom of God will advance.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother in Christ and the calling You have placed upon his life. Fill him afresh with Your Spirit, guide his steps, and let Your Word flow through him with power. May the name of Jesus be exalted, the lost be found, and the saints be strengthened. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, as you prepare to stand before your local church and preach the Word of God. It's an incredible responsibility, but we know that God who called you will also equip you. Let's pray together, shall we?

Father, we come before You today, laying our sister's upcoming sermon at Your feet. We ask that You would grant her wisdom as she prepares, helping her to understand the scriptures she's studying and guiding her as she crafts her message. Give her clarity of thought and a humble heart, that she might point her listeners always to You.

We pray for an anointing, Lord. We ask that You would fill her with Your Spirit, that every word she speaks would be empowered by You. Give her boldness, Lord, to declare Your truth without fear or favor. Let her be Your voice, speaking Your words with love and authority.

And Father, we lift up the hearts of those who will hear. We ask that You would prepare them, softening their hearts and opening their minds to receive Your Word. Let Your truth take root and bear fruit in their lives, we pray.

We thank You, Lord, for this opportunity to serve You. We trust that You will be glorified in this sermon, and that many will come to know You more deeply because of it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
