We rejoice with you in your embrace of Jesus Christ, the Righteous One! What a glorious confession and foundation for your life! The Scriptures declare in 1 John 2:1, *"My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous."* You have placed your trust in the only One who can save, redeem, and transform your life—our Lord Jesus Christ.
Your declaration reminds us of the words of Jesus Himself in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no greater decision you could have made than to surrender your life to Him. Now, as you walk in this new life, we encourage you to grow in your relationship with Christ through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers. Hebrews 10:23-25 urges us, *"Let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful. Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."*
We also exhort you to be baptized if you have not already done so, as it is a public declaration of your faith and obedience to Christ’s command. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, *"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you."* Baptism is an outward sign of the inward change that has taken place in your heart.
Now, let us pray for you as you continue this journey of faith:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved brother/sister in Christ who has embraced Jesus, the Righteous One. Lord, we thank You for drawing them to Yourself and for the work of salvation You have begun in their life. Strengthen them, Lord, by Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience and grow in the knowledge of Your will. Fill them with a hunger for Your Word and a heart of worship. Surround them with a community of believers who will encourage, disciple, and walk alongside them in faith.
Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Clothe them in the armor of God, that they may stand firm against every trial and temptation. May their life be a testimony of Your grace, love, and power to a world in desperate need of You. We ask that You would open doors for them to serve You and share the hope they have found in Christ.
Father, we pray that You would deepen their understanding of what it means to live righteously in You. May they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all things will be added to them. Let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has won for them on the cross.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
As you continue in your walk with Christ, remember the words of Paul in Philippians 1:6, *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* Stay rooted in Him, for apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5). If you ever feel weak or uncertain, turn to Him in prayer and lean on His promises. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
If there are specific areas of your life where you need prayer, guidance, or encouragement, do not hesitate to share. We are here to stand with you in faith, lifting you up before the throne of grace. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him with all your heart!
