We come before the throne of grace with deep concern for you, lifting you up in prayer and standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. The struggles you describe—hearing voices, feeling oppressed by demons, confusion about your identity, and disturbing dreams—are not of God, for He is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world, and through Him, you can find freedom and victory.
First, we must address the spiritual battle you are facing. The voices you hear are not from God, who speaks truth, love, and clarity. The Bible tells us that Satan masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and his demons seek to deceive and torment. But take heart, for "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). You have authority in the name of Jesus to rebuke these spirits and command them to leave. The Bible assures us, "Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
We also notice that your prayer does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or find deliverance (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:12-13). It is only through Jesus that we can approach God and find true freedom.
Now, let us pray for you with the authority given to us in Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack. Lord, we rebuke every demonic spirit that is tormenting, deceiving, and oppressing them. By the blood of Jesus and the power of His name, we command these spirits of confusion, deception, fear, and oppression to leave immediately and never return. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every curse, every lie, and every stronghold that the enemy has placed upon their mind and heart.
Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, who will guide them into all truth (John 16:13). Replace the voices of the enemy with Your still, small voice, speaking peace, love, and clarity. Father, we pray for their mind to be renewed by Your Word (Romans 12:2) and for them to find their true identity in Christ alone. You have said, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are mine" (Isaiah 43:1). Let them know beyond any doubt that they are Your beloved child, created in Your image, and fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
We also pray for their dreams, Lord. May You guard their mind and heart as they sleep, and may their dreams be filled with Your peace and revelation, not confusion or torment. Let them dream of Your goodness and wake with a sense of Your presence. We ask for supernatural rest and restoration, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep as You watch over them (Psalm 121:4).
Father, we pray for healing in their relationships. The enemy has sought to twist their perceptions, making them feel hated by those they love and loved by those they dislike. We ask that You bring reconciliation where it aligns with Your will, and that You surround them with godly, loving relationships that reflect Your heart. Let them experience the love of Christ through Your people, and may any broken relationships be restored in Your perfect timing.
Finally, Lord, we pray that they would grow deeper in their relationship with You. May they seek You first in all things (Matthew 6:33) and find their strength, identity, and purpose in You alone. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them walk in the freedom that Christ has already won for them.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power, Your love, and Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in their life, and may they emerge from this battle stronger, wiser, and more rooted in You. In the mighty and victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We urge you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and your greatest weapon against the enemy’s lies. Memorize scriptures that declare your identity in Christ, such as:
- "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
- "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31).
- "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from a Bible-believing church or mature believers who can pray with you and walk alongside you. You do not have to face this alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to stand with you in prayer.
Lastly, if you have not already, we strongly encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. If you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and confess with your mouth that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater freedom than being found in Christ. If you need help understanding what it means to follow Jesus, please let us know, and we will gladly share the good news of salvation with you.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. You are not defined by the voices you hear or the dreams you have—you are defined by the blood of Jesus and the love of the Father. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will lead you into the light.
