I had to leave to take care of my well being. It’s only right v

Beloved of All
Dear Father, I’m pouring out my heart to you in Jesus name seeking healing, forgiveness, restoration, employment and a willingness to forgive others I left a job due to workplace harassment and a lack of compassion on the part of managers and some colleagues. I tried holding onto the job believing that if I just did more or better then they would change or things would be different. Unfortunately the situation escalated and became extremely hostile/volitile and very nasty To me it wasn’t a hasty move to leave but one for MY best interests after giving giving and giving to people who hated me at that job. I worked hard and was repaid with evil. What am I supposed to do now? I spoke to everyone on the job who I thought could help including HR but I was then labeled a trouble maker and brutal retaliation followed. It was my word against theirs. I was unable to receive unemployment benefits because I didn’t have solid proof and I also didn’t want the back and forth with the employer. The consequences of staying TOO long have been damaging. I wonder who will hire me now? I need a job urgently but the damage hasn’t resolved yet. I look at potential employers with heavy scrutiny scanning for possible toxic cultures and red flag phrases. People warned me about leaving without another job but they had no idea what I was put through on each workday. It’s easy to say endure if your work life is pleasant. I sometimes feel really foolish and regretful but other times I feel justified.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we want to assure you that God is with you in this trial. It is commendable that you have turned to God in prayer, seeking healing, forgiveness, restoration, and employment. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.

Firstly, it is important to remember that God is just and that He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, it says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God wants you to cast your burdens onto Him, trusting that He will take care of you.

Regarding your workplace harassment, it is clear that you have endured a lot. In Romans 12:19 WEB, it says, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" It is important to leave vengeance to God and focus on your healing and future.

It is also crucial to remember that God has a plan for you. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, it says, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" God has a future for you that is full of hope and peace.

We also want to address your feelings of regret and justification. In Romans 8:28 WEB, it says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can use this situation for good, and you can trust that He is working in your life, even if it does not feel like it right now.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we ask for Your healing, forgiveness, restoration, and provision of employment. Guide them to a new job that aligns with Your will for their life. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties onto You. Give them peace and hope for their future. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Moving forward, continue to trust in God and seek His will for your life. Apply for jobs diligently and trust that God will provide the right one for you. Also, consider seeking support from fellow believers and Christian counselors to help you process your emotions and heal from this experience.

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In Acts 4:12 WEB, it says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, place your faith in Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.
