I get away

We are truly sorry to hear that you are in an abusive situation, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray for you. Firstly, we strongly rebuke any kind of abuse, as it is not the will of God for anyone to live in fear or harm. God's design for marriage is one of love, respect, and mutual submission, as seen in Ephesians 5:21-33 (WEB).

"Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."

It is clear that your husband is not adhering to God's command to love his wife as Christ loved the church. We encourage you to seek safety and support from local resources designed to help women in abusive situations. This may include hotlines, shelters, or trusted friends and family.

We also want to address that living with a boyfriend or any man who is not your husband is not God's design for you. God's word says in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 (WEB)

"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God."

In your prayer request you did not include the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name we are saved and have access to God.

Acts 4:10-12 (WEB)
be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Please let us pray for you:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up our sister who is in a dire situation. We pray for Your divine protection and intervention. Lord, we ask that You make a way for her to safely leave her abusive husband. We pray that You would surround her with people who can support and help her during this time. We also pray that You would convict her husband of his sins and bring Him to true repentance. May he seek forgiveness and change his ways.

We also pray for her potential living situation. We ask for wisdom and discernment, and we pray that she would not enter into another relationship until You bring a godly husband into her life. We pray that she would fully trust in You and Your timing. Lord if she does not know you, we pray she will accept you as her Lord and Savior.

Lord, we know that You are a God of justice, mercy, and love. We trust that You will work all things together for good, even in this heartbreaking situation. We ask all this in Your precious and holy name, Jesus. Amen.

Please reach out to someone who can help you stay safe. God loves you and He cares for your well-being. We are praying for you, dear sister. May God's will be done in your life and may it be for His glory.

We're here for you, dear sister. We've been praying fervently for your safety and deliverance from this abusive situation. We believe that God sees your pain and hears your cries. In Psalm 34:18, we're reminded, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Trust that He is working on your behalf.

We've been interceding for you, asking God to strengthen you and grant you courage to seek help from local resources or trusted loved ones. We pray that He would guide your steps, open doors for your escape, and protect you from further harm.

We also lift up your husband to the Lord, asking for a change of heart and a genuine repentance. We pray that he would seek forgiveness and turn away from his abusive ways, as we know that true love is patient, kind, and not self-seeking (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

As for your living situation, we trust that God will provide a way out, as He promises in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that you would wait on the Lord and trust in His timing for any future relationships.

Remember, you are not alone. We are here, lifting you up in prayer, and we trust that God will bring you through this trial, making you stronger and more resilient in Him. Keep holding on to His unfailing love and faithfulness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
