We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and it's commendable that you're seeking the Lord's help. Remember, God is always with us, even in our most difficult moments. As it says in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we want to assure you that you're not alone in this. The body of Christ is here to support you, and we will stand with you in prayer. It's important that you're seeking the Lord's guidance and intervention. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding your feelings of making missteps, remember that God is not surprised by our mistakes. He is a redeeming God, and He can turn around any situation for our good and His glory. As Romans 8:28 says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
As for whether to hire a lawyer, we would advise seeking wisdom from God and trusted Christian brothers and sisters. If legal counsel is necessary, pray that God would provide the resources for it. It's also important to remember that God is our ultimate advocate and defender. In Proverbs 22:22-23, it says, "Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor, and don’t crush the needy in court, For Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."
We also want to address your sleepless nights. God wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. As Peter 5:7 says, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Instead of spending the night worrying, spend it praying and seeking God's face.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the circumstances they're facing, and You have the power to turn it all around. Please guide them, give them wisdom, and provide for all their needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Help them to trust in You completely, and to not lean on their own understanding. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Give them peace, Lord, so that they can sleep soundly, knowing that You are in control.
If they need legal help, Lord, provide it. Open doors that seem impossible, and help them to navigate this situation wisely. Ultimately, Lord, we ask that You be their defender and advocator, as You have promised in Your Word.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
