We understand your concern and will pray with you for God's will to be revealed in your situation. Firstly, let's address the issue of suspicion. The Bible tells us that love should not be suspicious. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB, it is written:
"Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
However, this does not mean we should be naive. We should be wise in our discernment, but also trusting in our relationships. If there is genuine cause for concern, we should address it openly and honestly, seeking the truth in love.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is seeking your guidance in her relationship. Lord, we ask that you reveal any truth that needs to be known. If her fiancé is being unfaithful, we pray that he would be convicted by your Holy Spirit to confess and repent. If this relationship is not your will, we ask that you give her the strength to walk away and wait for the spouse you have prepared for her.
If, however, this relationship is your will, we pray that you would strengthen their bond and build their love on the foundation of your word. Guide them towards a godly marriage that honors and glorifies you.
Lord, we also pray for their purity, that they would remain chaste until marriage, as your word instructs us in Ephesians 5:3 WEB:
"But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints."
Finally, we pray that your will be done in their lives. If you are not being acknowledged by her fiancé then we pray she would have the strength to walk away. Your word says in John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me..
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek God's will in all things. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
